I Want to Pursue My Master's Degree

Since I was an infant I have been fascinated by art and colors, my mom would always brag about how I was just 8 months old and would grab anything colorful and start painting with it. I would spend most of my time drawing anything around me or tracing cartoon characters from comic books. Parrallely, my enthusiasm with animations and motion pictures awaited till date. As I grew older and started learning math in school, I grew fond of the subject and did pretty well, but I never saw or knew the connection between art and math, until high school when our Math teacher, asked us to do a research on the Golden Ratio (divine proportion) and there it was, I saw the connection, I understood then, why I love both subjects and how math and art can be in the most peculiar places and they work hand in hand in almost everything.
By the time I was applying to go to college around July 2008 , I was still confused I wanted to join the Mathematics Department at the Cairo University in Egypt, but at the same time I didn’t want to give up on art. Until one day, where, I was watching TV and coincidently saw Professor Randolph Frederick "Randy" Pausch, (computer science and human-computer interaction and design professor at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) last lecture titled; “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams” on Oprah, I didn’t know anyone…
