I simply adore the phrase “love conquers all.” Love is caring very strongly, and deeply about another person. Love comes from the heart, or the soul depending on beliefs. When a person loves someone, they are there to support them, and work together to solve problems. They are willing to stand by each other during good times and bad, wishing nothing more than to watch, and help each other grow. Infatuation has a few wonderful things going for it as well. It gives goose bumps, and puts that silly smile on a person’s face that they cannot seem to remove. It fills the mind with daydreams. They will do anything in their power to make the person they love happy. Love is a selfless emotion, it can open a person up to nourish other relationships. Love is about being in love with another person. On the other hand, infatuation brings out jealousy and obsessiveness, making it extremely hard for others to be around the person. Being infatuated one does not really care about the other person’s feelings or emotions. The feeling of infatuation just makes a person care about how they feel when they are in the other person’s presence. Infatuation is a very selfish emotion, causing a person to neglect other relationships. It is about being in love with the idea of love. Finally, we have the physical differences between love and infatuation. Love is more than just physical attraction. When a person loves someone, they are in love with the person as a whole, and not just certain aspects of that person. Love is seeing someone’s imperfections, and loving them anyway. It is energizing, and can make someone feel brand new. People enjoy not having to worry about their flaws showing, knowing that they are love despite their imperfections. However, infatuation focuses more on the physical aspect of attraction. It is an idealized image of a partner, and one only puts their good side on display for them. It is draining to constantly put one’s good side forward. To make sure that one’s flaws are never showing can be more exhausting than one thinks. I side with love because
