Information technology has advanced in multiple ways in society, where organizations has implement the structure into their work environment. Industries have outsource their manufacturing to other places in the world and rely on telecommunication to keep the marketing. The geographic distribution has changed significantly by reducing the distance it takes to complete an operation, due to information technology. These are just a couple of examples of how this advanced technology has reshape our society and continuing.

It was an average evening at the Cauldron Supermax Prison. Thousands of miles from land, this prison held the most dangerous criminals on the planet. One of those notorious criminals was Triangular the Triangle and his only prison friend Ryden May. Ryden started a conversation, “Tri, my man, when are we gonna escape.” Triangular the Triangle had no response just anger in his annoying friend. He just wished he could ditch him.

Racial profiling in the United States has become more of a hot topic in the past years more than ever before in the 21st century. With races butting heads on presidential elections, terrorist attacks, police brutality, and more that continues to separate our country than unite it. The Iron Triangle is in place to help, strengthen, and better the US Government and the citizens of the country. While the Iron Triangle has made the government a balanced machine, it has its flaws dealing with racial profiling and trying to find solutions in fixing them.

In this activity, I will be working with Carolyn Ulrich, a fellow geometry teacher, to improve our students’ achievement in our “Similar Triangles” unit. The mathematical level of geometry is the second-year math class taken by all sophomores and is tested on the Arizona state standardized test. Mrs. Ulrich is our geometry level leader on our campus, but she teaches four honors geometry classes and one regular geometry class, where I teach three of the regular geometry classes on campus. In this activity, we have decided on three standards to focus on when we instruct our students in this unit, which I will state in the next section. We will work together in a collaborative inquiry which “involves identifying and agreeing on one problem or area of student need.” (Nelson et al., 2010, p. 36) We will meet throughout the week and discuss what we did in class for our instructional practice, how we thought it went for each class, administer the common assessment, and see how our students did on these three standards and compare results.

The impact that Marijuana makes in the Emerald Triangle is immense with all the products needed to grow being bought from the community businesses growing the community's economy all while supporting the local people.
