In the end Ichiro Suzuki had a better batting average on a smaller field. Although he had a better batting average on a smaller field, he also had less at bats in those fields. His best averages were in Boston, Toronto, New York, and Miami, but with that he only had one or two at bats. This data didn’t support the hypothesis. To add on, he didn’t have any at bats in three of the thirty MLB parks. The team that he faced the most was the Atlanta Braves. He had twenty-three at bats and had a batting average of .295. That means that in the parks that he hit the most in were the parks where he had a lower average. Ichiro did succeed in the smaller parks even though he does not hit a lot of home runs.
