I want to attend Illinois State University so that I can learn business skills, and build a career in Accounting. I believe that the university will help with my transition from a business student to a business professional. The facilities provided by State Farm, and the great faculty at Illinois State University, will make my learning experience very successful. Illinois State University is my first step to becoming a top class accounting professional.
One of the reasons that I want to go to Illinois State, is because of the various business organizations that are offered. I feel that the organizations will enable me to learn the social aspects of business, provide an enriching experience, and prepare me for future challenges in the business world. In my first few years of college, I plan to join some of the organizations at the university to include the Accounting Society or the Business Association.

Out of all of the courses I have taken, Introduction to Business was my favorite. I continued to take business related subjects and get involved in business clubs. I also took advanced placement courses in Calculus and Statistics, which I believe will help me build my career in accountancy. This experience should put me ahead of other incoming freshman at Illinois State University. I have started getting exposure in the business field, by becoming a part of the Future Business Leaders of America club. I also took advantage of an online business course titled “Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills”, from the University of Michigan, and earned a grade of 86.7%. My education in high school has helped me build my foundations in Math and other business related
I have found my interests gravitating largely towards alternative methods of profit maximization, entrepreneurship, and global economics. The RBS prerequisites that I have completed, along with those I am currently enrolled have bolstered my business acumen and fortified my passion for finance. I come from a diverse high school and RBS affords me that comfort of home. A demographically and academically diverse
After reading the book and drawing lessons from the past, I have learned that if I want to be successful, I must have the clear goals which can keep myself motivated constantly and moving forward towards the attainment of my objects. Therefore, I set the short-term goals for studying in Seneca. I hope I can participate in co-op to have more work experience after the third semester. After graduating from ACF program, I hope I can directly enter the sixth semester of IAF program and prepare for the certificate about accounting. Since IAF program requires a minimum GPA 3.0 and a minimum Grade of B for several courses, I need to get at least Grade of B+ (75%) for all the courses. To achieve my goals, I must “work much, much harder” (Gladwell 39). I will preview the textbooks, highlight the important parts or the parts that I have questions and seek help from my professors. Meanwhile, I will attend the workshops to improve my English skill since English is my second language and sometimes I find it difficult in speaking and writing. Further, I will use the time management skills that I learned from ISC
As a young girl, going to a university had appeared to be a farfetched daydream. However, I have matured since those thoughts and have spent countless hours depositing effort to reach this so called farfetched dream. Illinois State University was one of the numerous universities sprinting through my mind. When I buckled down and made I.S.U. my first choice, the decision was clear for why I should attend this particular school. First of all, the location of the university meet my personal needs. With Bloomington only being 45 minutes away from my hometown, I would be eligible to visit my brother if need be. My younger brother, Payton, has depended on me a great deal since my parent’s divorce. Therefore, it would be in my best interest to be close to home. Secondly, the program and technology offered in my field of study intrigued my longing for knowledge. Illinois State University has often been recognized, by the staff of my high school, as a top notch university for those interested in teaching. Lastly, I chose this 4-year university

After I graduate from Community College of Philadelphia, I plan to attend a four-year university. I want to receive my bachelor’s degree in accounting. I have a few schools to choose from. The school I am going to transfer to is Temple University. I am choosing Temple because it is close to home, it has a good accounting program, and to continue a legacy.
I am enthusiastic at pursuing graduate degree in Accounting at Clemson University due to several reasons. First, since I have spent two years at Winthrop University in South Carolina, United States, I am kind of familiar with the environment in South Carolina. I have been to Greenville and I visited the Clemson University. I am attracted by the fascinating environment and cozy lifestyle in Greenville. Clemson University provides students a beautiful environment. Second, Clemson University offers high quality Accounting courses. I think I can get fundamental and professional knowledge from strict professors not only on books but also their ideas about business. Since I can learn knowledge from excellent professors and I will make efforts to study hard, I will have a better understanding in Accounting. I am confident in passing CPA exams through studying at Clemson University and my hard work. If I can pursue my graduate degree at Clemson University, I may stay in South Carolina for about four years. I am familiar with the environment so that I have more opportunities to find an internship or even a job after graduating from Clemson University. My English can be improved a lot because I can communicate with my professors and friends. After much thought and consideration on continuing my academic career after high school, I decided to look into Kansas State University. As I grew older and realized that college took on a greater meaning, my uncle and grandparents (both alumni of Kansas State University) talked to me about, not only the importance of college, but how great this university is. I immediately scheduled a day back in fall of 2016 to visit the campus with my family. After visiting the college, I knew that this was the place for me. I knew I could see myself here.
To Whom It May Concern: I am interested in Illinois State University. I was glad to read that you like me know that student motivation and academic preparation are not fully revealed by a student’s high school transcript or by standardized tests.
Before studying specific majors, McDonough requires me to learn liberal arts courses and core skills of business, which are beneficial to build up a solid foundation for my further studying. McDonough also brings me the opportunity to combine the knowledge from the classroom with hands-on experience, like the First Year Seminar and Entrepreneurship Fellows Program. The program--MSBAC-- is helpful to build a bridge between faculty and students and make a positive change for McDonough peers. These organizations also cooperate with the local community to help me apply knowledge into reality. Specifically, I am interested in Georgetown Retail and Luxury Association (GRLA), McDonough Global Students Association (MGSA), and Georgetown Accounting Society, which all helpful for me to master my major in a simple
I have dreamed of becoming a part of the Boston College community for my entire life; the world renowned undergraduate management school, game days, tradition, and religion are all aspects that attract me to Boston College. There are countless other experiences that made me fall in love with the school, however, the strong sense of community encased with unwavering school spirit is a main reason I want to become an Eagle. The The Carroll School of Management is the ideal program to further expand my knowledge in business, faith, and work ethic because of the numerous opportunities that will help me achieve my goal of becoming a well rounded student and person. Among my list of aspirations, studying abroad is at the top, and Boston College offers
Young, ambitious women from all over the country participated in this program, full of innovative classes and discussions about business, which were lead by Kelley professors. The experience on IU’s campus was unforgettable and is one of the main reasons I hope to attend IU. If admitted into IU, I hope to receive direct admission into Kelley School of Business and double-major in Business and International Relations, and minor in Spanish. I plan on studying abroad and continuing studying foreign languages to increase my understanding of international cultures. I value Kelley’s method of education that forces its students to be eclectic through its innovative I-Core program that focuses on four different perspectives of business: Finance, Management, Marketing, and Operations. One of my goals while on campus is to live in the Kelley Living Learning Center so I can meet with people with similar passions for business, as well as learn to network amongst my peers. My main academic goals at IU would be to enroll in the Hutton Honors College, Kelley Honors programs, and Kelley’s Women in Business program. As a woman, I understand that power isn’t given to you, you must work for it, and Kelley embodies
I think my biggest change had to come from the operations class with Greg Werker. Even through COMM 290, he has definitely influenced which path I am considering specializing in. Part of it has to do with Greg’s expertise and the wide range of companies that he has worked for; for instance, L’Oreal. I thought even more about supply chain management and operations during the alumni class when Mike Tung was talking about his own experiences. From the readings for that class, I also discovered Sauder’s specialization of Global Supply Chain Management, which spoke to me because it allowed for exchange to two different continents – something I always wanted to do in university. Furthermore, I found the fact that inventory is a good metric for determining how well a company is
