Schools are incorporating technology into learning more and more all the time. Every month there is a new phone, tablet, television, laptop and even thousands of websites. Technology in School Technology is everywhere, it is involved in almost every part of our culture. It affects how we live, work, play, and most importantly learn. With technology being such a fundamental part of our lives and growing each day, it only makes sense that schools incorporate technology in the classrooms. Even though many people support the use of technology in schools, there are those that have concerns about the effectiveness of technology and whether or not it undermines education to solely prepare students for the workforce. Despite the concerns, technology is being integrated with classroom lessons daily, and proving how beneficial it is for student success.
In an ever changing society with rapid technology growth, technology could be viewed in many ways. Whereas others believe that the amount of technology that is being given to the students aren't benefiting them at all, in fact, technology is creating more problems, which could jeopardize the students future. Before schools should consider becoming an all technology atmosphere, schools need to acknowledge the negative aspects that technology can bring to the table, this would entail the lack of imagination, short attention span and the inability to develop a set of skills due to the widespread

For science, they can view accurate 3D representations of an atom. It also keeps them more focused and involved in their learning. Technology in the classroom allows children to learn quicker and more effectively. This paper will support the benefits of technology in the classroom, as well as show the downfalls of technology and why they are inconsequential. Will your classroom make the switch to technology?
The way we teach students in the modern classroom has massively changed throughout the years. One major changing factor is the development and use of technology. Before, classrooms were filled with paper, pencils, crayons, and all things needed to be completely hands on with our education. Now, most classrooms have replaced these things with tablets and laptops and smart boards that students get to spend all day staring at. Technology has the potential to be a great thing for our students, but it is being used to the point that it is no longer helpful.
Technology in the classroom is not just helpful, it is a necessity in the world today. Learning in a technology free world today may pose as a problem for many as it has became the main source for learning. According to the author of Wall Street Journal, Kevin Delaney, kids are learning through technology instead of the old pen and paper,“And in the process, the educators are beginning to interact with students, parents and each other in ways they never have before” (Delaney). Even Though modern electronics help make our lives simpler, but it can also be utilized negatively. Smartphones are no longer used only for texting and calling. They are high-tech devices that can access the internet, emails, and social media. However, arguments on whether these functions are necessary for students in high school are beginning to surface. Despite the fact that phones can be utilized educationally and serve as a learning too, this same technology can also be utilized negatively at the wrong time. In agreement with many teachers, “a fair amount of teachers say cell phones have officially replaced chewing gum as the new classroom menace. Constant ringing, chirping, buzzing and texting are interfering with lessons and student learning, and some students are storing notes on their cell phones to cheat on tests”(Hart). In order for kids to learn in a fair and healthy setting, smart phones should not be allowed in school environment because of the potential for distractions and cheatings; furthermore, it can also cause degeneration of social skills.
