In this assignment, I will be analysing the impact of the requirement for a valid contract in a given situation. This case study is about Bob and Jamal, where Bob wanted to buy a car from Jamal that is different from Jamal`s which he refused but accepted afterward. Throughout, this process, they communicated by letters which originated. Furthermore, I will be including appropriate case studies to help to solve this case. On the other hand, I will be answering three questions in this case study. The three questions are: does Bob have to pay for the car or risk legal action for being in Breach of Contract if he continues to refuse to pay, how might your answer be different if all communication was by email to an internet advertisement and provide an analysis of the impact of the requirement for a valid contract in the situation above.

When analysing this case, we need to come to the first point on whether the advertisement of the car was an offer or invitation to treat. Coming to a conclusion, it indicates that the advertisement was an offer because Jamal is willing to be open to get anyone to agree with the contract or it could also mean that he wants to receive postal acceptance when looking back at the actual case study, which clarifies, “The advertiser was Jamal giving a contract address.” This case is similar to when relating it back to Fisher V Bell…
