Benchmark Assignment: Implementation of the institute of Medicine (IOM) Future of Nursing Report Many years ago in the United State of American, several individuals in this country could not afford the pay the high cost of health coverage, but with new initiative of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) by the president, these individuals can receive care through affordable healthcare. In 2010, the report by the implementation (IOM) future of Nursing came into reality. Many individuals in United State were not just happy, but more productive as the reform was so helpful to them and reduces the number of uninsured and the underinsured individuals together (IOM, 2010).
