Realco Breadmaster Company It is very important for a business to have a master production schedule because it enables companies to determine whether or not it is meeting the demands of production. Businesses without a master production schedule are at a huge disadvantage compared to businesses that do have a MPS. For example, a business can have many products in stock but can miss out on its profits due to the holding cost. Not having a MPS can cause businesses to lack in supply which can result into customers receiving their products very late.
