A goal I set up for myself is not football related, yet it is. My first goal is to achieve a 4.0 grade point average (gpa). To obtain this goal, I need to be a good student throughout high school. I will need to sometimes stay after class and put textbooks away, clean the desks, or even maybe organize papers. This is the easy part. The hard part is doing all of my homework on time, studying for tests, and paying attention one hundred percent of the time. Without football, without you as a coach, I wouldn’t have the motivation to achieve this goal, or any other of my goals. Another academic goal I cooked up is to be on the honor roll. This will give me more to show when I apply to a university after I graduate. I’ll have to complete my volunteer hours every year. If I reach my first goal, the second goal should fall into place. Football has inspired me and given me motivation to try hard at school. If I achieve these two goals, my third and last academic goal will hopefully succeed. The last goal I’ve come up with is to earn an academic scholarship to a four year university. Out of all my goals, this one is the kicker. I hope to play football as long as possible, but earning a scholarship would be just about the best thing I could think of. I will bust my tail for four years in high school to get a scholarship and I realize I will fail at times, but I will not stop trying to reach these goals. The only thing I am scared of even a little bit is failing a class. If I fail a class, I won’t be able to play sports for a month, which feels worse than it is. I’ll also mess up my gpa if I fail, causing me to not get a 4.0, and missing out on a scholarship opportunity. Getting into a university will be a lot tougher if I fail just one class. I will try my hardest not to let that happen. I have also come up with some personal goals for myself that has nothing to do with school. Each of these you have inspired me to think of and attempt to reach these goals. The first one which I’ve been thinking about all season long is to make it to state in football when we are either juniors or seniors. I know it’s bad to think that far ahead in terms of football, but this is something every football player my age and younger
The most important long range goal I have ever had was to graduate high school. This has been one of my goal's throughout my career as a student. It has been my main goal because I will be the only child of my mother's to graduate from high school. My mother has always pushed me to my best and has always told me to reach for the stars with this goal, because she did not want me to get a GED like she did. My education goals consist of learning something new every day. Throughout my educational career as a student there were major and minor bumps in the road, yet my goal of being able to receive a high school diploma kept me thriving to accomplish it. Now as the last few months of school wind down closer and closer to graduation my heart grows
I have three short term goals firstly, I would like to graduate high school with honors. Next, I would like to get a job this summer to gain some work experience. Lastly, I want to one day do an internship that coincides with my major in the near future. As for my long term goals, I would like to graduate for college with a major in Biology and at the top of my class. I want to also
When I first started college, my academic goals were to learn as much as possible, join a Christian fellowship, get into the criminal justice program, decide whether or not to go to graduate school, and to graduate in four years. In addition, to also to either get a job or get accepted into an internship. My overall goal was to enjoy and make the most out of my college experience. My career goals back when I was a freshman, were to figure out if I want to join law enforcement or go to law school and find a job in the field of criminal justice, while being happy working the job. Over the course of two years, some of those goals have been achieved and some goals have been changed.
Because I have identified several tools given to me – and that I am aware of my purpose, I can now set goals. My most immediate short-term goals as a college student include: becoming proficient at balancing my time well, soaking up the information that I am being taught, making great grades, serving my community, traveling and studying abroad, and attaining internships and scholarships.
Staff members at Fieldcrest High School have always preached that if have no goals set for yourself, then that’s exactly where you’ll go; nowhere. I have learned that to be successful in life, setting goals is an essential start to the right track of achieving them. My current goals include: graduate from the University of Texas, graduate from the Dental Program at The University of Texas, and be an orthodontist. Being an active learner through my academics and extracurricular activities, will set the tone for me to excel academically throughout many years of education to become an orthodontist, will improve communication skills for years to come, and will provide critical time management skills to prioritize commitments.
I would like to continue my education to college for I will be able to know tons of things. Also, by going to college I want to become a history teacher that coaches football. This has been one of goals for 4 years now since I have started to love history and football. If I didn't have football I wouldn't have anything for my grades. By having football in my life I have been motivated to have good grades and get a scholarship to Alabama
The goal that I have set for myself is to graduate high school on time with a 4.0, this goal will be difficult to achieve, but it will keep me focused throughout high school. This may be a huge challenge because I have
I have goals in my life, just as the great Odysseus had his own goals; Odysseus wanted to return home and slay all of the parasitic suitors, living off his fortune. My goals, on the other hand, are not so gory or dangerous, but it is also tiresome to achieve my altitudinous goals. I want to go to a nationally ranked college in business after I graduate, that is why I am
My goals I want to accomplish by the time I finish high school are to find the good friends early on and finish at the top of my class, but the most important one is to get recruited to play college volleyball. I want to find those friends early on so that my high school experience will be a lot easier with friends that support me on my side. Finishing at the top of my class is one of my goals because I have always wanted to finish at the top of my class. Getting recruited is also a something I really want to happen. This has been my dream since I was a little girl and my goal is to make that dream come true. I will work hard at everything so that I can make that
I remember the first time I set a goal, I was watching a college football game. Texas A&M’s quarterback Johnny Manziel was running down the sideline and the crowd was going crazy. In an upset fashion Texas A&M beat Alabama 29-24. That’s when I realized I wanted to play college football. I think with time, dedication, and persistence achieving any goal is possible.
My educational goals for high school would be to get good grades mostly, and the reason that is one of my main goals is because with grades your acceptance rate is higher to get into a college. With a higher acceptance rate, you get more options of colleges to choose from you aren’t limited to a certain college. For my college goals, they are to get a master's in nursing. Why I want my masters in nursing is because a master gets a higher chance in being hired, because they would rather choose someone with a higher degree in that area of work. Also with a masters you have more knowledge and that is always a better thing when applying to a job.
First off, I want to graduate from college and do it well. I want to be able to do things on the weekends and not worry about having to make things up or anything like that. I am hoping for a scholarship in football, in my opinion that would be a great start for me in college.
Upon entering high school, I made a goal to myself: I wanted to become a better version of myself, realizing my own strengths and weaknesses and, ultimately, preparing to be a part of a completely different atmosphere beyond high school and even college. From the beginning, I knew I was going to find a way to improve academically, as a member of Kingsway’s STEM Academy and Superintendent’s List throughout my high school career. However, I would never think that I, as an eighth grader, would ultimately rise above my classmates, eventually being third in my class freshman year and still enjoying the rigor of taking as many AP and Honors classes as I possibly could fit in my schedule. By being recognized and awarded for my achievements, I finally realized that being this type of student, one that strives to do the best and remains self-motivated no matter what difficulties are faced, gives me a purpose as student and overall enjoyment.
I have many goals in life such as to have a good strong career and family. What is important to me is graduating Central high school and go on to UND. While at UND I plan to get my nursing degree and specialize in pediatrics and truama. I have
Everyone should have personal goals that evolve around anything that needs to be accomplished. I set goals on a daily basis. One goal that I seem to have not truly focused on has been my college education. Considering all things, I decided I needed to focus on my college education. The first thing I needed to accomplish was to enroll in an institution for higher learning. Now that my enrollment is complete, I am an official student at the University enrolled in the undergraduate program for business management. As a student at the university, I now have to set personal goals so that I will be successful in my endeavors. My personal goals are to gain personal growth and development and graduate from my undergraduate program in business
