I am a hands-on learner, so with on-line courses it is sometimes difficult to understand what is expected of the assignment, having the rubric helps though.

So far I feel that I am handling the course load and completing the assignments on time while allocating adequate time to read and absorb the material in the online textbook. Furthermore, in my opinion, the course load assigned each unit is at the appropriate level for a class at this academic level.

This course was on an online website called edx, where many colleges have online courses available to the public. The course that I took was hosted by Harvard University. I signed up for it and completed the first five problem sets, which gave me a feel for programming and analyzing algorithms. The problem sets introduced me to C, where I built programs such as recovering deleted JPEG images.

Question from the class: would recommend taking this class and CIS22A(Beg C++) at the same time? The answer is no, because this class is advanced class and require prior programming experience.

Hi, my name is Sandra Madison my major is in Human Development and Family Science. A strength I have that will help me through this online course is dedication. Once I set my mind on a goal or completing a task that becomes my main focus and where I want to spend my time and energy. When I registered for this class I was not aware it was the first Psych B5 online course offered at Bakersfield College. I feel very fortunate to have taken it with Dr. Tinoco! Not only did she provide all the necessary information on how to navigate through the course material, but she also took it a step further and provided extra material to make sure every student understood the material.
