Importance of not being late. In the following paper I will be discussing what series of actions brought me to write this paper, the army regulations surrounding said actions, the possible effects these actions might have on the accomplishment of the mission, the possible affects on your career, and how to discourage and possibly stop such things from ever happening soon or ever again. The reason I am being subject to this time consuming, uninspired, and rather lackluster writing assignment is because I failed to be at the correct place of duty at the time appointed to me by my superiors. The day before we had a relatively late work call and I adjustment my alarm clock to reflect the change and give myself ample time to get myself ready …show more content…
If you are charged and found guilty under these articles you can be facing a multitude of outcomes none of which one would strife for. The commanding officer could be as lenient as letting you go with a stern yet fair warning and talking, you may find yourself picking up trash after work and during the weekends for anything between the parameters of seven to forty five days of extra duty. You may also suffer from the economical side of the house because they may decide to go ahead and cut your monthly pay in half for two whole months back to back. Last of the outcomes named here but the one that I personally believe to be the worst is the loss of rank. The can take one or all of the them depending on the severity of the cause being presented to the commanding officer. Rank is the thing that takes the most time to achieve the first time around coming up the ranks, to lose it after you have it makes it harder for you to be seeing as a professional and a soldier that is worth pushing forward to achieve to the next step in his career. Next we will discuss in this paper the impact such actions can have getting the mission finished, moral and appearance of the company or organization, and the direct impact it can have on the people you work closely with. In our job
Do you think late start should be everyday at Beaumont High School? Well, I do not think that this is a good idea. This idea is ridiculous; however, other people think it is a good idea. One of the reasons I do not think this is a good idea is because it makes the day for everyone longer. Health is not that big of an issue with this. Our health is not going to get any better by going to school like 45 minutes later. Based on the article titled, “More zzz’s can lead to more A’s: Seattle Schools Move Start Time for Teens”, one believes that Beaumont High School should not change the start time to begin class later due to transportation, sports’ schedules, and the late dismissal.
When students hot high school, they experience something new. Students have a wake up at such an early time to make it at school on time. My high school started at 7:30 am, and I had to get up at 6am to take a shower, get dressed, and have breakfast just to get to school on time. When first period hit, I am still so tired. Also, take in account the kids who have to take the bus to get to school on time. Those students have to get up so much earlier than most to catch their bus. Students should not have to be so tired during class. High school students should be allowed to sleep in and come to school at a later time do they aren't so tired and they can focus better Students just aren't getting enough sleep.
This paper will explain the managers’ role within a company and their responsibility when implementing a change within a company. It’s not just the planning and organizing talking about what plans need to be placed in order to create a change in a company, but the manager must know what to expect and how to completely deal with staff to make a positive outcome for the team. Several high schools all around the United States start school before the recommended time of 8:30 or later and there is nothing being done to help prevent this. Although it seems that it is just a time, waking up too early is very detrimental, not only to teenagers, but people of all ages. According to Zuckerman from the National Center for Health Research, “By 2000, many high schools were starting at 7:30 or earlier”. Waking up at this earliest of times can lead to increased depression, drug use, obesity, conflict, and car accidents in the average teenager. Simply increasing the start time of school by a single hour can reduce the rate of the effects stated above by at least 70%. Also, according to Tlumacki and Vaznis from the Boston globe, “The CDC has joined a growing number of national organizations calling for later start times for both high school and middle school students. Those organizations
The company staff initiative launched in corporate and social responsibility project "We care." The company's employees ripen thought themselves to implement actions required on a daily basis and in relation to their working environment (ergonomic
Ever wonder why you can’t remember things you should or why you are having trouble concentrating? You probably did not get enough sleep. Having more than six hours of sleep is known to help you think clearly and aid in learning and memory consolidation. In some cases, it is impossible to get enough sleep with the 24/7 society we live in. As a result, researchers have shown that by merely believing you have slept more, you are likely to increase your performance on mental tasks.
This disease occurs as commonly as a cold, yet is ignored on all fronts. Ignored by schools, and serious, and it lurks in the dark. Waking up fully and just getting out of bed shine as two different sides of the spectrum, but people commonly mistake them. Most times, falling asleep due to exhaustion can negatively impact individuals. It is a serious problem in adolescents, and it could have serious problems lasting the rest of their lives, and even the lives of those around them.
Adolescent is a hormones age that usually fall in bad moods and behaviors changes. There are many factors make them have serious negative emotions and moods such as school, relationship, gender/sexual problem, and family issues. As we know that most of teens go to bed very late which affects to health a lot, on page 387 from the textbook says, “Teens tend to stay up later at night and have more difficulty getting up in the morning than they did earlier in their lives and will when they are adults." When someone have not enough sleep, he or she will have headache and dizzy because lacking of sleep, the brain cannot work well as when we have a good sleep. Therefore, lack of sleep make teens have negative emotions such as they will easily be angry when someone wake them up during sleep because they cannot wake up after stay up late at night.
The Heart of Change book is by Kotter and Cohen. This book discuss the eight-step path to success, which reviews by people who were succeed and individuals that fail at large scale-change. The major challenge at each stage is the process on how many people meet those challenges. The Heart of Change and Organizational Behavior and Management put in detail the steps and techniques organization must take in order to bring a more effective change in most organization.
Late assignments will not be accepted under any circumstances. It doesn’t matter if lightning strikes your house, frying everything inside, your dog died, your hamster needs a heart transplant or your favorite football team (the Seattle Seahawks) don’t make it to the Super Bowl, everything needs to be turned in on time.
I have come to realize that learning is one of my passions because it enriches my quality of life. To my recollection, growing up I have always ask my eldest family members to tell me stories. I enjoyed knowing how to do things and how not to do things. However, my adolescence period caused a bit of difficulty for my parents. I thought I knew everything that I stopped applying myself in school.
Now, it is time to pass along that enthusiasm to other members. The idea is for others to become motivated and excited about the possibilities of change as well. The authors were able to clearly express this by encouraging others to become involved in the changes that were going to impact everyone on
When we begin working for an organization, we expect our duties to stay the same. We become use to what the norm is for us on a day-to- day basis. However, when an organization comes across an issue that can affect the company, change is necessary. We must be ready to accept change at any moment. The organization must first be able to identify what the problem is and how its effecting the organization. Once the company identifies the problems, a leader and manager will work together to decide what’s best for the company. If everyone accepts the change, the organization will began to see growth.
If this approach is utilized, it will help to improve coordination and team work inside the organization. This is when there will be change in employee attitudes. These are leading to shifts in how everyone looks at themselves and their responsibilities. (Sora, 2003) (Beehr, 2001)
During the first stage of making changes within an organization, the managers have to ensure that the plan to initiate change will cover communication within the organization through all levels and departments. A good communication plan will allow an organization, its partners, and employees to communication, share, and distribute its messages to each other. The next step is to elaborate on the different facets of inter-solid relationships. Human resource has to be involved in all the integral part of the operation to monitor and protect the organization. Instruction can be used as a performance intervention by aiming to improve capabilities. Teaching helps to facilitate learning to meet a particular goal. This will encourage interaction with all individuals and help management and employees to grow together in the same direction with the same goals. The mission statement, vision, objectives, and goals serve as a roadmap for organization, its management, and employees
