Introduction In the past decade, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) has developed its potential to enable national economic, social, and educational development. Online learning has been promoted as being most effective, more convenient, and providing increased opportunities for the lifelong learner (Olson and Wisher, 2002; Richardson and Swan, 2003). Nowadays, the cloud computing system contributes to the development of digital society, because this technology can reach many groups of people in a variety of different contexts. Cloud computing is determined as the interaction between people, with a purpose of exchanging information or sharing opinions. Furthermore, the systems user friendly and has easy access to a variety of applications. The systems communicate rapidly have a space to access databases and there is no charge. Cloud computing technologies also encourage students to have active engagement, collaboration, and participation in their learning. Therefore, one interesting aspect of cloud computing is a collaborative learning model. This system allows the user to access a fast internet connection without a requirement for hardware and an operating system (Bhaskar, Choi, Ian, 2009), (Mariana & Merwe, 2011).
