The most meaningful thought for me is “In the beginning is the word.” Like we talked about during the class, the word is really powerful, even though it is just the smallest unit of sharing meaning. Strangers begin a conversation by just a word, maybe Hello. I think the most difficult part of a communication is the beginning. People fear to be the first one to speak, or they do not know how to speak. That is also why people always talk with their friends instead strangers. As can be seen, once the conversation begins, it is no longer hard to continue. All we should do it to use the word to make the beginning. At the same time, the word is also important. This situation continued until a midterm exam. I was one of the best students in the class. In China, teachers always have a rank of students’ grade. I remember after that midterm, I had a really bad score of math, which impacted on my total grade. I got 76 out of 120, which was pretty low comparing to others. My class advisor talked to me, he said: “What’s wrong with your math? Is there something wrong with your score?” I felt ashamed and told him: “I don’t know. Maybe it is too hard for me.” I didn’t tell him the reason why I didn’t like this class. He asked me to talk to Shelly. So I did.
It was an afternoon, and the sun was really warm. When I entered teachers’ office, I saw her desk was close to the window and furthest from the door. She was sitting there writing something on a paper with a pen. Shelly was the only teacher left in the room. When I was thinking about what I would say to her, she saw me and waved her hand to ask me to go there. When I was there, she pulled another chair to let me sit. Then I noticed she was wearing just a simple gray sweater that day. I remember the first sentence she told me is “You are really smart!” When she was smiling when she said that, and the sunshine was on her face. She looked like an angel at that moment. I was shocked because I thought she did not like me as I did not like her. Then Shelly said, “I found you did really well in the past exams. Do not worry about the score of this time, the

Communication is the most important one topic because people communicate no matter what we need communication to express ourselves to others. Appiah said it is more important to communicate one another in person instead of using other networks. The conversation is the first important step to understand others. People of other cultures will then learn to accept the beliefs of others and by “changing our minds”, Appiah makes it clear that conversing with people does not often begin with agreeing on a set of principles, but rather exchanging our ideas and learning from another one.
Communication has often been defined by scholar as the process by which people send messages and generate meanings across various contexts, cultures, and media. The process of communicating does not stop; it occurs cycle after cycle. Whether through verbal or non-verbal messages, the transaction takes place and is inevitable, named by scholars as The Principle of Communication Inevitability. Recognizing that communication will exist, whether intentional or not, it is important to understand the various areas of our life where communication may be vital to the success of the structure. One important area is focused on human

The sun rising and birds chirping, a fresh a breath air consumed my lungs. It was the start of my junior year at Coral Park Sr. High, and I was ready to enjoy my year with old friends and maybe have a girlfriend. As I pass through classmate and teachers outside the classroom; going up the main stairs in the back of the school entrance, I was interrupted by a wonderful fruity smell. As I turned to see what aroma lured me, suddenly I bumped my head and fell off the stairs. Once I realize what happen, I quickly ran up to the girl and held her hand; her hair was covering her face at that time so I didn’t pay so much attention. Ring! Ring! Ring! The bell rung and I was late. I apologize to her and told her that I would invite
At the end, people will think everyone is a bad person, also lead to this world become very darkness and evil. Second, I think we talk not only to get to know each other, also have a chance to know ourselves. While we talking to other people, we can know the person from their words because people always add their own thoughts in their conversation unconsciously. Sometimes we are not what we think we are. So we can know what they think about us from their conversation.
Second period had just ended and you would see students walking out to the field. Taking it easy I approached the end of the ramp, I took a look around and I saw the many small cliques. I heard a faint voice call my name so I turned to see who it was. A teacher. She looked at me and signaled to come over. She had told me to talk to young girl who was by herself, just like me. I sat down next to her, we were both silent. I decided to break the ice and ask her a few questions and she asked some in return. We had some form of a conversation, and because of that we became friends. Best friends. I never knew that it was that easy, and soon after that our friendship circle became a lot bigger. I was able to laugh and smile just like how I saw the other students on the first day of school. I was able to come to school and enjoy it. When I was young I always thought that I would be attending Mira Mesa High School, I never had imagined graduating at High Tech High North County, until
In my Healy education career, my year with you was very funny and surprising at the same time. I thought that 8th grade year with you was going to be very hard and harsh with you. Many people told me how rude and mean you can be. I was extremely scared about going to your class but I was more frighten because I’m in your home room. On the first quarter of the school year I was really struggling with my writing grades. You give me many chances to help boost my grade up and told me to practice more on grammar. On one writing assignment you give me an B instead of a C because I had no grammar mistakes. At the moment, I thought you were pretty nice and not mean or rude.
I believe that communicating is a fundamental pillar of human experience; we have to communicate with each other because, far from being a need or a survival instinct, media has evolved into something more than a visual aspect.
