In the play ‘’Macbeth’’ by William Shakespeare Macbeth struggles with his conscience and the fear of eternal domination if he assassinates King Duncan. Lady Macbeth’s conflict arises when Macbeth’s courage begins to falter. Lady Macbeth is has a cruel, venomous, evil personality in which no man can escape from her wrath and raging power. Lady Macbeth is like a black widow who utilizes aggressive and ruthless tactics to persuade Macbeth to commit the assassination. This cruel minded woman utilizes the power of manipulation and reverse psychology to get what she desires. One tactic that Lady Macbeth utilizes to manipulate Macbeth is to challenge his masculinity. Can you want that glittering prize – the crown – yet be a self-confessed coward. She demonstrates that Macbeth is nothing but a pessimist and doubts his manliness. The she-bear known as Lady Macbeth is trying to convince Macbeth to commit the murder. Lady Macbeth utilizes her feminine instincts and the power of manipulation to gain complete control of his thoughts. By utilizing the power of reverse psychology she doubts his manliness by calling him a pessimist. Macbeth will eventually commit the murder proving that he is full of manliness and that he isn’t a coward at all. William Shakespeare the creator of Macbeth he adds events in which involves drama, assassination and there’s always a cruel minded person in the play. The cruel hearted character utilizes strategic ways to manipulate the other weak character to commit an assassination but there is always a catch to the story. Somewhere in the play there could be betrayal and harsh brutal treatment to the traitor of the crime. Also William Shakespeare foreshadows the events of what is going to happen later on in the play. For example lady Macbeth easily manipulates Macbeth into assassinating King Duncan to gain power utilizing her feminine instincts. The she-bear uses manipulation and reverse psychology to gain control of his thoughts by calling him a coward and doubting his manliness.
