I love working with children and would thrive at an opportunity to learn and teach children. I would love to be apart of this program because I was fortunate enough to apart of a similar program because my parents were always working. My parents are immigrants and were always working late nights and couldn’t take care of me after I came home from school. I had fun in that program because they taught me how to play various sports and I learned to play my favorite sport soccer and now I’m on a varsity soccer team. It was amazing to play and not worry about being by myself at home and just to have fun and making friends. Education has been an important part of my life since a very young age. Growing up I have always strived to do my best in school. In my sophomore year of high school I realized how important education was to me and decided that I wanted to be a teacher. From Elementary School to College I have always been close with my teachers and professors. I still visit and talk too many of them today, this made me realize that I wanted to be that teacher for my future students.
