The summer between my freshman and sophomore year of high school I was at my house with my family and my friends. They live in Ohio, but we all have houses in the same neighborhood at the lake. When we are all together we ride four wheelers down to the lake, around the neighborhood, and just have fun together.
We go on a vacation almost every summer and we always have a blast, but last summer we went to South Carolina. Me (Alexis) and my sister (Kinzey) went with my Dad (Aaron) and his girlfriend (Kristen) and it was fun. All of us went to the beach a lot and one girl that was there got stung by a jellyfish and I touched a jellyfish that was lying on the ground ! We swam a lot and got hit by waves and they weren't small waves they were huge and me and my sister built sand castles but they fell down every time me and my sister would build them but it was still fun to build them. Also all of us went to a bunch of restaurants that we have never heard of before like this one mexican restaurant that had really good food there and they served salsa and chips for an appetizer and for my real food I had a quesadilla and it was very good.
It was a bright and sunny friday, school had just got out not 2 hours prior, and me and my family decided to head to the beach to start the weekend off before heading back to school that following monday. On our way there I realized they were heading to Waimea Beach which is a good 30 minutes from my house. I love Waimea beach, and has to be one of my favorite I’ve ever been to.
I had been waiting all summer to go to cedar point and it had finally come. I was both nervous and excited at the same time. We packed the night before and left the next morning. It was a five and a half hour drive, but it was completely worth it. I sat in the back and waited. All I could think about was all of the rides. Finally we pulled up to the front and saw all of the rides. I could stop thinking of how much fun it was going to be. We stayed for a day and got fast passes to ride faster and get on more rides, but we only had them for the first day.
This summer I chilled with my friends and family by just walking around and talking. We have the best times when it is just us doing nothing so we have to think and create something. I do not like just being bored so I always have to find something to do. Me and my friends always end up playing basketball or making songs for fun. Me and my friends decided that we go out our senior year like. I always knew when i met them that we were gonna be cool forever. We always have problems but that is what makes us stronger as a group. Even tho we did nothing over the summer we still had fun in our own ways.
On the third day, we got up and went and ate breakfast a small cafe after that we left and made our way to an adventure land. As soon as we got there it was packed full of people. My parents paid for our tickets and My brother and me went to the amusement park side first the first thing we went on was the go-cart track.
It's calling my name!" we all got our bathing suits on and walked over to the pool area. There is 2 pools and 2 hot-tubs, we all jump in the pool and officially start our vacation. Mom said "this is only the first day and we're already having so much fun! I love my family." we all say "love you too mom!" and swim for hours. "I feel like I'm already getting tan." I said while looking at my arms that were actually getting sunburnt, "put sunscreen on Corrina." my mom says "you're going to turn into a lobster." After we had our fun at the pool it's time for the Led Zeplin cover band, we get a little bit freshened up and go watch the band. My mom always goes up and dances when we're listening to live music, she asks my dad to come with her so he does even though he's a little shy. They danced and talked to other people their age all night. While Brett, Arianna and I were exploring the bay which was right by the stage, when all of a sudden fireworks go off from Sea World which is only about a 10 minute drive from where we were staying. You can see the reflection of the fireworks in the bay water, it was amazing! After all the fun we had that day plus the drive there we were all quite tired but, there was still one more thing we had to do, family fire time. We light a campfire roast s'mores and talk as a family, we laugh, joke and plan our day for tomorrow, of course this lasts for hours, but eventually we
In July of 2015, I went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with my family. I did many adventurous and entertaining things while I was there. For instance, I went zip lining, went to Myrtle Waves (a water park), and flew in a helicopter. I just had a blast doing all of these activities. I surely won’t forget the experiences I had doing these things. The summer of 2015 is one I surely won’t forget!
When we were in Branson, Missouri we went to Silver Dollar City, I loved going there but it was my fourth year that meant that I could ride Fire in The Hole, I decided to do it we were in line I was excited and nervous at the same time but I was going to do it. When we got to the front of the line I had butterflies in my stomach, the person helped me in. As we started to move and go through the hole in the wall, the ride just seemed like a puppet show but with mancans that were taking out the fire,
It was a great summer year in 2011, I had my first summer job as a cook at a summer camp. I had a blast every day, interacting with the kids and playing with them. Every day during my brakes I would go to the water front because the camp had a blob. The kids would get so excited when I came because since I am a big guy I would make them fly in the air with the blob. The camper would jump on to the blob and crawl to the end and sit facing the water. I would then run towards the blob from a tall dock and jump on it, landing on a sitting position making the kid on the other end be launch in to the air and landing on the water. In order for this to go well I needed to have my glasses on because without them I couldn't land the landing right
My extended family and I were at our favorite vacation spot, Carolina Beach. It was another beautiful day. Kids ran through the hot sand while the seagulls went through their parents unguarded bags. Me and my family sat in our beach chairs watching the crashing waves. The waves were full of small grey fish. Schools of these small fish were flying out of the water, fleeing from the bigger fish below. My uncle jumped out of his beach chair and grabbed his fishing net to cast over the jumping fish. The net sunk into the blue ocean waves. A quick tug and the net emerged while closing over the fish. He dragged the net through the waves and onto the wet sand. Their wet grey scales glistened in the warm sun as they jumped trying to escape the net.
The weather was warm and sunny at this time of the year. The trees were all green. The sky was cloudless and the wind was heavy in Chicago, IL. About 4 years ago, my family and I were at the famous Michigan beach by the Navy Pier, and it is here where we lost our car key. We never knew how important the keys are until we lost them.
There is nothing that screams Miami more to me than summer time in South Beach. Walking on the strip of the South Beach during the summertime, you can just feel the breeze of the misty winds blowing through your hair and fingertips. These misty breezes are blown so softly that it will calm your soul. Night or day it doesn’t matters the time, South Beach is the place to be. South Beach has great beaches, great food, and varies of entertainment. You don’t know the real Miami if you haven’t experienced South Beach.
One of the most remote areas controlled by the United States is Ofu Beach. This spectacular beach is part of the National Park of American Samoa. Though the beach has many attractive and unique features, few people get to experience its stunning views in person because of its far-flung location.
On a cold, dark night while packing the car with our extremely heavy luggage and beach inflatables we finally started the car. We made sure everyone was buckled up and ready to go. As the engine came to life you could feel the excitement in the car as everyone stared at each other while smiling. While driving all I could imagine was how fun and relaxing it would be when we arrive. So therefore South beach was definitely a weekend to remember for my family and me.
