For many people in around the world, who and where they are today can be largely attributed to significant individuals throughout history. Many of these individuals have had a positive impact on humankind and have played a crucial role in molding societies of today. Therefore, I feel that the most influential individuals in history are not the ones who have caused the most harm. The most influential individuals are those who have the courage to stand up firm for what they are fighting for. It is inevitable to be shielded completely from drawbacks, many of which are emotionally demoralising. However, it is only when one bravely climbs back up that changes are made possible.
The 1920’s in America, an incredibly extended time ago that happens to be a reminiscence we can’t individually even bear in mind any longer simply because we didn’t subsist in that era. We’ve heard many stories of the time. We’ve heard of the numerous struggles and economic crisis’s the country has triumphed over. We’ve heard stories of trepidation in men and woman and their children, and we’ve heard their daily harsh realities. Nevertheless, the question still remains. Have we heard about the glorious moments and the various amounts of greatness come to in America? Sounds like I’m talking about a super hero right? The truth is, yes, for many of us the late 1920’s delivered two of many heroes that we still
Throughout history those who are the first to achieve something set the base for those to come and are well remembered. This is just the case with Martha Washington. As the true first lady Martha Washington set the base for all the women to follow behind her. Martha, an avid entertainer and generally well liked person took the title and gave it meaning. Martha Washington was a leader and stood Behind her husband George. Throughout her life she made multiple strides in supporting her husband and the country. When it comes to history Martha Washington was an influential figure remembered as the nation's first, First Lady.
There are many people in this world that are influential. These people fight for what they believe in, they go after what they want, and go past obstacles that they face. An individual that shows these traits would be the 40th president of the United States of America, Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan is influential because of his beliefs, he fought for what he thought could be a better America, he also went after what he wanted which was to become 40th president of the United States, he also went past obstacles in his life one obstacle that he faced was winning his 2nd term Ronald Reagan, our 40th president, made our country better.
There are many people that are influential in the world. Those people impact the world in a positive way by them being nice, donating things needed and making a difference. For example, an individual that shows these traits would be Alexandra Scott. Alex is influential because of her accomplishments, admirable qualities, and heroic acts.
Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “We are not makers of history. We are made of history.”
Many great people and many great things shape history to what it is today. An example would be Adolf Hitler. Hitler was a great man but that does not mean what he did was essentially a great thing. Hitler helped in shaping the world’s history by causing World War 2. He was trying to shape the future as well because he wanted Germans to be the superior race. However there are good people who did good things to shape history. One specific person that comes to mind is Lester Bowles Pearson. He did not shape the world’s history but he did shape Canada’s history; he made Canada to what it is today, he introduced Universal Medicare to all Canadians, and he created the United Nations peacekeeping force.
Throughout history, there have been countless times whenre individuals have courageously fought for change and societal justice. For instance, Gandhi helped India gain their independence, even though the circumstances were extremely risky for him, and could have led to his arrest or even death. However, he continued to persevere through it all, and was able to accomplish great things for his country. Another example is Malala Yousafzai, who promoted the education of girls in her country. Despite the clear threat of the Taliban, she continued to fight hard for her cause. Courage can be defined in many different ways, such as the ability to persevere and accomplish something in a frightening or risky situation. Examples of courage can be seen all around the world. Without courageous people, society would not have been able to improve. Being courageous is difficult, and requires an abundance of dedication and perseverance. It also includes remaining strong, despite the challenges that may occur along the way.
As I read Rising Strong by Brene Brown it really hit home with me. In her book she talks about something most people do not like to deal with, which is shame and being vulnerable. We all feel shame no matter who we are. Some people take it better than others do. Some people take their shame and burry it deep down inside them and others takes their shame and makes great success stories out of it. Brene Brown talks about how much she struggled with being vulnerable and how she dealt with it. She starts off her book with a long presentation of her book and how we can approach shame. She enlightens us that Rising Strong is regarding getting to the heart of the most excruciating and uncomfortable minutes we 've ever experienced, getting genuine about the path in which those moments have made us feel and being sufficiently striking to consider ourselves responsible to get up and develop from the past as we move into what more there is to come. She likewise focuses on that yes, most definitely, disappointment is excruciating, exceptionally difficult. Tragically be that as it may, the stories of battle to achievement that we 're so regularly told do more than see their way through the pain and make their way to be success stories. Brown states that all we need are, “a critical mass of bad asses who are willing to dare, fall, feel their way through tough emotion, and rise again” (Brown, 2015, p. 30.)
Sometimes in life, situations may knock you down to a breaking point of giving up. These situations can make you or break you; but whatever you chose the choice is yours. Challenging circumstances can make you feel as if the world is caving in on you. Moreover, you must learn to push through your trials and tribulations and get back up again. Life never said it would be easy, or challenging. You must continue to keep dreaming, and keep that hope alive within your heart, and strive to become a stronger solider for the next mountain that may come against you. In life, we will not always see good days. However, your good days should outweigh your bad days. As long as you have breath in your body, you will always win the battle that’s ahead of you. The story of Lolo Jones exemplifies this breaking point, and the discouragement she experienced to doubt her dreams.
Since ministers from the black church rose as formal charismatic leaders in the movement, there was not a situation in which a woman could be a charismatic leader.
Adversity has a way of bringing up challenges unexpectedly, most people shrink away from it and get consumed, but when they push through it people come out stronger than they were before.

History is such a captivating subject; it recounts to us stories of the past that made the world we live in today. Every story gives us data about who, what, where, when, and how things were set up or changed. Many individuals all through the ages have had an immense effect on how we carry on with our life today. Every nation on the planet has its own story; in any case, there are individuals in history that have had an overall effect on how we carry on with our life today. Give us a chance to take a gander at some popular individuals ever; like Nelson Mandela and Adolf Hitler, what they did and how they influenced the world in which we live in today.
Everyone experiences adversity. Challenges that everyday people experience can potentially shape, improve, or destroy one's sense of self and personality. Through all these hardships and seemingly impenetrable obstacles, the most pertinent component of one's ability to overcome can only be shown in actions taken despite the odds. People have one of two options; to let those obstacles overwhelm them and keep them from pursuing all that they were destined to accomplish, or to march forward, fight harder and push past the seemingly impossible circumstances to become greater than they ever expected to be, but until they take the step that enables them to be successful -- they are stranded. All of our actions, mistakes, successes, and behaviors shape our person and what we can or cannot become, but what will always matter is our individual decisions and actions not those of the people around us because at the end of the day, we are the ones who have to deal with ourselves.
When asked who was the most influential person in my life without any hesitation I knew it was my father. My father has impacted my life greatly and has helped me become the person I am today. He has helped me in many ways; he pushes me to be the best, he is always there for me, and he possesses good qualities that I try to obtain.
