Making a Pizza
Specific Goal: I would like my audience to know how simple, yet fun, it is to make a homemade pizza.
A. It's Friday Night, you have some friends over, and you are all bored and hungry. 1. You wonder, what in the world could we do that would satisfy us all? 2. And then it hits you, you all can make a pizza.
B. Not only can you have fun while making it, but you can enjoy eating it afterwards, too.
C. My mom and I always make pizza together for dinner so I know what to do in order to make the pizza just right.
D. Today I will show you everything I know about making the perfect pizza. 1. I will show you easy step-by-step instructions and you'll be enjoying yourself a nice slice of pizza in no time.

Before you start doing anything else, you should get all of your ingredients and utensils you will be using. A. First you will need to get the ingredients for the dough ready. 1. These ingredients include: warm water, 2 packages of active dry yeast, flour, sugar, salt, and oil. (I will hold up each ingredient as I speak of them.) B. Then, you will need to get the ingredients for topping your pizza. 1. These ingredients will include: any type of pizza sauce and shredded sharp cheddar cheese. (I will hold up each ingredient as I speak of them.) C. Next you will need to get all of your utensils ready. 1. You will need: 2 mixing bowls, a mixing spoon, a rolling pin, a large pan, a pizza cutter, and basic measuring cups and spoons. (I will hold up each utensil as I talk about it.) D. Before you do anything else, you need to preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

The next step would be to make the dough and form the crust. (I will show exactly how to mix in the ingredients and at what time each should be added in.) A. First, you will need to get one of your mixing bowls and put 1 and a half cups of warm water in it, along with 2 packages of active dry yeast. B. Next, in your second bowl, you will put in 4 cups of flour, 2 teaspoons of sugar, 2 teaspoons of salt, and 1/4 cup of oil. C. After that is done, you will combine the mixtures in each bowl together. Once that is done, you will need to let your dough sit for about an hour. D. Once you have let your dough sit for about an hour, you can start to form it into a ball. 1.Then, you will need to take your rolling pin and roll out the dough into a circle the best that you can.

For the manufacturing process Papa Johns Pizza Delivery was chosen. This store is very well placed in the small town that it operates in. Located on a very busy street in Moses Lake it is centrally located and the whole town can be navigated within an easy ten minutes of the store. This allows the workers within the store to be very detail oriented. Assembling the pizza, cooking it and making sure there are no big bubbles in the dough when cooking is easily done.
