Aubrey “ Drake” Graham ,who goes by the name Drake is a multi-faceted entertainer. He is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, and entrepreneur. He has also won Grammy awards and sold many platinums. Graham was born in Toronto , Canada on October 24th ,1986. He’s the son of the amazing drummer Dennis Graham who played drummer for Jerry Lee Lewis , and Sandi Graham an English teacher and florist . Drake’s father is African American and is also an native of Memphis, Tennessee. His mother, who is caucasian and Canadian, is Ashkenazi Jewish (of Latvian Jewish and Russian Jewish descent). Drake was raised in his mother's faith. Graham has a very musical background in his family . He also began his interest with talent at a very young age and became more and more interested when being with his dad in Memphis. What some people didn’t know is that drake now holds the record for the most number one hits on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Chart. Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, today we have the great privilege of being able to listen to a man that I like to refer to as the new rap royalty. Picture driving in your car and let’s say you’re stuck in traffic and you’re looking for something to listen to on the radio to buy the time, you can turn on just about half of music stations nowadays and you’ll find one rapper that happens to be everywhere you turn, Drake. Drake has become one of the fastest growing and interesting empires that we have seen from the hip-hop scene in a long time.
