Transition
: let explain all this implication to you all in further details and let me show you that tailgating will surely will cause you a very big problem to yourself and the person that you tailgated.
Body
A. First, tailgating can cause the person that you tailgated become emotionally unstable. 1. It raises the issue of harassment (to trouble, worry, or torment) because some drivers who are being tailgated may experience fear and anxiety. (http://www.soc.hawaii.edu/) a. This is normal to the person that have tailgated because when someone tailgates you, you will surely become nervous and afraid b. This will most likely will cause them to drive beyond the limit of their car and surely will cause their car to lose control for example during turn, in a big roundabout especially in Samarahan (self-observation) c. I have seen by myself that someone lose control of their car in a big roundabout on the way to Samarahan due being tailgated by irresponsible driver. (self-observation) 2. It can also make the driver that have been tailgated becomes more aggressive in their driving. a. Tailgating infringes upon one's privacy because some drivers may feel as if their personal space have been invaded and/or violated and this will result anger and aggression. (http://www.soc.hawaii.edu/) b. The person who has been tailgated usually taps on their brake to warn the tailgater to back off but if that fail, they most likely to create and accident on purpose such apply on the brake and stops that result the tailgater to hit at the back of his car. The driver soon later accuses the tailgater for following too close.

Imagine this. It’s the weekend, you have nothing planned but to just sit at home and watch T.V. Your sister gets invited to a party but her friend invited her to spend the night, your parents don’t really like the party idea at all but allows her to go stay the night at her friends instead. Your sister goes to the party instead. Just imagine waking up in the middle of the night to your parents crying, hearing your mom cry and yell. You run downstairs and find out that your sister has been in a car accident and was also drinking and driving. Your sister, who was only eighteen is pronounced dead. She had her whole life ahead of her, but it's ruined all because she went to the party, got drunk, and decided it was okay to drive. How would you
Next, it is very important to stay focused. There are many distractions while driving. Some of the most common driving distractions are eating, drinking, applying make-up, loud passengers and talking on the phone. You have enough to worry about while driving and should refrain from multi-tasking, as it will be more likely for you to get into an accident. Driving is a full time activity and all attention should remain on the road.
However congestion present on the road increases the number of these incidents. This anger that these ragers bring to our roadways cause accidents in which many cases turn out to be fatalities. When someone gets cut off while driving it shows the lack of responsibility they actually have. Stress is also related to these drivers who take out their anger on others. Such aggression involves shouting obscenities, and vulgar expressions that include the ever so popular
Attention Getter: (Start video) I think you guys would agree that the driver received the sweet karma he deserved, but this type of toxic behavior is increasing every day. In 2014, the LA Times estimated that there are 253 million vehicles in the United States alone, and in today’s society where cars act as the main form of daily transportation, there is a sort of mental infection called road rage which inflicts a large portion of drivers.
“In the hands of an impaired driver, a vehicle becomes a murderous weapon.” ( ) Everyone can think of someone who has driven impaired, or even maybe you have done it yourself. The fact that one can think of someone who has driven impaired is a problem. Too many people are getting behind the wheel after drinking, smoking; or are not paying attention while they drive. Impaired driving continues to a problem although strides have been made to make a difference. There are many different types of impaired driving, each that have their own consequences. These types, and consequences will be explored in this essay.
Behind the wheel, there are many different distractions the driver can face. An online article by LiveScience.com showed an experiment done by the University of Houston and the Texas A&M Transportation Institute in which they put different distraction in different categories. The three categories I read about were Cognitive, Emotional, and Sensorimotor distractions. In the experiment, they asked the participant thought provoking questions, emotion provoking questions, and made them text while driving. They then tested stress levels and all three caused a noticeable amount of stress. This source shows a few different kinds of distractions that anyone can face behind the wheel giving anyone who reads it awareness of these
Unfortunately for some reason we have to replay the game from Sunday even after being up 7-1 with 8 minutes left and having to replay makes absolutely no sense. I think there were 2 other games that Im pretty sure were not complete and much closer than our and those scores were posted. We are waiting for the reschedule date and time.
1.Don’t Drink and Drive! I’m sure everyone has heard this expression before. However, it really is important and people need to start taking it more seriously. Not only can this topic affect many people, it can also affect your life personally.
Specific Purpose. The purpose of this speech is to inform students about negative consequences of the drunk driving.
According to the National Center for Health Statistics, motor vehicle accidents are the leading cause of teen fatalities. Teens, mainly, don’t always see the risk of being distracted while driving, but can you imagine your world changing in a complete second due to someone being on their phone while driving? SummerBreak, a channel on YouTube sponsored by AT&T, brought in people to interview with the intent of talking about texting and driving, or distracted driving in general. Throughout the interview titled “Wait for it… this could save your life” the goal is to have the audience change the way they think about distracted driving, with the hope that it would prevent it from happening. The use of emotions, shift of the mood, as well as the
This fact proves how teens are easily distracted when driving. More than 10,000 teenagers died in Tennessee from speeding in the years from 2005-2008. This proves that teens do have a tendency to speed while driving, let alone this is just one of the 50 states in the U.S (Teen Driver Safety, page 1”). There are many facts about teen driving and all of the facts I have collected just prove my reasons to be more correct than they already are.
Other drivers on the road take notice of drivers on their cell phones whether they want to or not because of the hazards they create. Erratic driving is something that we all get quite worked up about, especially if it makes us late or is otherwise a direct inconvenience to us. Scott Clark, veteran web business strategist and the owner of the consultancy BuzzMaven Labs, says “[He] came within inches of a bad accident because of a young driver being on the phone and crossing three lanes of traffic at 45 mph.” Drivers are also tailgating you because of, again, the inability to maintain a constant speed because they are on the phone. Clark warns of “[…] the rusty red Camaro [tailgating] the minivan full of kids.”
Many drivers young and old seem to be getting worse and worse at judging distance. I cannot count how many times I have been tailgated, illegally passed had a close call T-boning, or high beamed all form motorists who cannot judge distance. Tailgaters seem to be the most dangerous drivers of all. When a tailgater gets behind you on a wet road your best bet is to pull off and let them pass because tailgaters are where 50 car pile-ups come from. Most T-bone collisions could be avoided if drivers would allow larger gaps when pulling out of a store or going though and intersection.
The use of cell phone is very dangerous for drivers while driving. The drivers are supposed to be alert and concentrated to their ambient surrounding. The use of cell phone catch their attention and make them less alert to their surrounding which can lead to serious destruction. The use of cell phone is more dangerous than the use of alcohol while driving. Because it took half a second longer for a cell phone users to react than a normal person and one third of a second longer than a persons in drunken condition.
Not obeying the traffic signals is observed mainly during the peak hours of traffic as everyone is in a rush to reach early.
