Unfortunately, every consumer does not have the same access in making informed decisions. For example, the mentally ill and even prisoners are incapable of practicing or acting on their own beliefs. The mental state of an individual limits their autonomous decisions, as for prisoners the institution puts limitations on their choices. In this case, the determination of care and decisions of food come from the health care team for both the mentally ill and prisoners in regards to nutrition (Uusitalo 2011). The decision makers in charge of those consumers incapable of making decisions must provide a just decision for the consumer’s well-being in order to help them receive the correct nutritional value as

Can someone get all the truth from one source, how would they know if it’s the truth or just false propaganda. Sometimes, seen on the news, many by reading the new online, but by just looking at that one article, are you getting the complete story of the situation or is it all just made up from someone's opinion? So we check many sources to get all the sides and find out what you believe that is the truth behind what you’re looking at.

With any company the goal is to increase your sales and to decrease your cost at the same time. This can be somewhat of a challenge and can take time to achieve. Our goal was to increase our sales and decrease our production costs. Over the years our sales increased, as our sales increased so did our production costs. The demand was increasing so we improved and increased the amount of product that we made. Over all our net income increased. In year six it was $61,278, year seven was $68,237, year eight was $73,585, and year nine was $90,805. Our expenses fluctuated over the years, but we were consistent in increasing our profit.

As an administrator I intend to use data from not only students to help improve student learning, but I intend to use data to monitor teachers and instruction. An example would be using data to monitor and see if technology is used in a classroom for instruction and if that technology implementation supports the student learning. I would look at data from standardized testing to see areas of weakness or strength and see if I can tap into teachers’ strengths and support areas of weakness that appears in the data. Data is essential to monitoring and improving student learning. According to Kowalski et al. (2008) data-based decision making is “the process of compiling, reviewing, sharing, and using data to assist in improving schools, particularly, enhancing student achievement” (Owen & Valesky, p. 312).
Decisions are required in all that we think, do and say. In fact, it is impossible to go through a day without making a decision. Do I get out of bed today? Do I eat breakfast before leaving for work? What shall I eat for breakfast? These are simple examples, but we also face life-changing decisions as we go through life. We find ourselves asking such questions as, "Do I return to school?" "Do I want to have any children?" "What career path do I want to pursue?" Choosing a career path essentially boils down to a career-making process. Making this type of a decision requires relying on information available and systematically analyzing that information through critical thinking to come to a viable

Many businesses are faced with situations that need critical analysis, compilation of raw data, circulation of precise documents and effective utilization of computer systems. Frito Lay is an example of a company who implemented various decision support systems (DSS) into their business model. A DSS is a “highly flexible and interactive IT system that is designed to support decision making when the problem is not structured.” (Haag, Cummins p.162) Managers require information to guide their organization in the right direction.
