The AIDS pandemic continues to rage and sexually transmitted diseases and the trafficking victims in the global sex trade are exposed and spread the long list of diseases. In many countries around the world, paedophiles find that they can sexually violate children whenever they want, and in some places no punishment is inflicted on the perpetrator. And though police should be protectors, in many nations, their presence is often not there. The rights of women are still violated on a huge scale worldwide, but with particularly in Africa, in Africa women are often still considered property of men. Without their husband or partner, it leaves widows and other women in hard and dangerous positions, unable to care for themselves or their children. Around the world, women suffer rape and violence in some cases the person and/or group who inflicted rape or violence on these women, justice isn’t served. No fair trial happens, so these women are still put in harm’s way of being re-n our attacked. It is poor, who is at a higher chance of being attacked. It is said that 1 in 5 women is a victim of rape or attempted rape in her lifetime.
