At the beautiful lake there are big boats everywhere around me. I see fun filled people everywhere inner tubing, fishing, and having a good time. As I get in the cold lake I feel cooled off from the cold beautiful water. Jumping off the tall brown docks over and over again into the water for fun.The very calm, sometimes rough water is where I like to stay.
Inner tubing is my favorite thing to do on the lake. The cold wet water splashing in my face, riding the waves, trying to stand up on the fast tube, laughing, and having fun. Other big boats with huge waves going all around. Being with my family and friends on the tube and at the lake is always my favorite thing. Trying to push them off and making them fall in the water, and then the
They all have some favorite activities to do on the lake from jet skiing, water skiing, tubing, and jumping off of Engine Joe. But what favorite activities don’t come with favorite memories?
My happy place is Sunapee, NH. There is both a lake for swimming and a mountain for skiing. We spend the majority of our summers in Sunapee and do all sorts of activities like going on our boat, mountain biking, and just hanging out by the beach. We purchased a condo in Sunapee NH at the North end of the lake four years ago. Since then we have gone skiing every winter at Mount Sunapee.
After stressful school time, sitting on the rock bench next to the lake, I see sunshine illuminates through the lake surface, which becomes a splendid mirror. The view calms my mood and refreshes my brain to be ready for the next class. If paid attention, we will see small trees along the lake, which embellishes the scenery. I feel that even though I may transfer to university in next two year, I still want to come back for this moment. Northwest Vista College has such a beautiful and peaceful campus.
I sit down and settle myself on the cool metal pipe above the creek. This is my place for peace, my place to take a break from the chaos of life. I close my eyes and listen to the sound of the mini waterfall in the creek, the calming tumble of cascading droplets. I can feel my heartbeat slowing and my breaths deepening as I forget all of my troubles.
Although there’s a lot of different people that have many different favorite activity my personally favorite is bow hunting, bow hunting is one of my favorite activities that I like to do. I like to bow hunt and just free shoot with a bow.
The cold soft sand in between my toes feel unique as I walk down the beach. The crisp air came off the lake as if it were an air conditioner blowing in my face. The sky is half full of clouds, as they pass the sun my arms fill up with goosebumps. The chill goes through my body like an electrical shock. When the sun is not covered by the puffy cotton candy clouds, there is a heat sensation on the top of my head indicating that it is midday. Although my prediction of the time is a little bit off, I can tell that the temperature is rising. I did not know how to react to the different temperature changes. I begin to observe the people around me. The children are swimming, they excitedly play almost like puppies wrestling. There
Have you ever gone 20ft in the air and flipped over while tubing with a crazy driver behind the wheel? My favorite thing to do while I’m boating is Wakeboarding. I also love to go tubing (it usually depends on who is driving though). These are my favorite things to do while boating.
In my life I have had many tubing adventures so I am going to to tell you my best ones.
As I sit here, on the hood of my car looking out into the vast field I think to myself, why this place? Out of all the places that mean so much to me, why does this place stand out the most? Everyone has that one spot that is special to him or her for various reasons whether it be a memory, experience, how it makes them feel, etc. For me, my favorite place encompasses all my senses bringing them to an all time high filling me with an overwhelming indescribable feeling. It’s my sanctuary, a safe place, but above all a place to clear my mind and getaway from reality. There aren’t enough captivating words to describe the beauty of this place. In the winter, the vast field covered in a blanket of untouched glimmering snow surrounded by bare
It seems all us "beach bunnies"are showing our true colors! It's no wonder the first three posters on this thread have chosen the beach. I'd argue it is the perfect place to unwind and think. Personally, I'm drawn to the ocean for its infallible ability to calm me. No matter what difficulty arises in my personal or professional life, a trip to the beach allows me to clear my head and generate rational solutions based not on the fleeting emotion I might be feeling that day, but rather logic and reason.
Once I was on the lake, I drifted slowly, watching my paddle ripple through the water. I penetrated the blues and the greens that were reflected in the lake. Despite the fact that it was my first time kayaking, I felt in control and strangely at peace with myself. I floated to a rock that jutted out into the middle of the lake and climbed onto it. I looked around and the vivid blue sky went on for miles, I saw the tops of bright green trees, and felt an indescribable sense of peace.
Vvvvvvvvv Rom,blurrr, blurrr, blurrr. The sound of the motor makes me anxious to go for a ride. While my feet dangle off the dock looking at the undersized, slippery, suckup sunnies trying to eat my toes. I can tasting the hot summer air, and feel the slick deck full of spiders. I hear Wallie say, “LET'S GO!.
My Place of Solitude Van Morrison in his song " Into the Mystic" quotes "Hark, now hear the sailors cry, smell the sea, and feel the sky let your soul and spirit fly, into the mystic. " These lyrics are strong for people who love the beach or sea. I love the beach, and everything about it. My place of solitude is the beach because of the sand, water, and the surroundings.
Out on the lake is one of the best places to relax, especially when the water is as smooth as glass with no wave movement expect when waves are generated by other boat. You hear the quiet crashing of the waves, the humming of the motor, the songs of the birds, and the occasional splash the fish make after jumping for the clouds. Being out on the lake is one of the best places to kick back, relax, and enjoy the majestic view, but the best view is of the sun as it sets for a good night’s rest. That’s the best view because of all the vibrant colors that fill the sky like red, orange, yellow pink, blue, purple, and more towards the end black.
One of my favorite places to visit is the Saco river. The Saco river is a relatively small river near the New Hampshire, Maine border. A group of friends and I usually only visit once a year and because of this I think it makes this place even more special to me. I find this place to be restorative and it also appeals to my attitude and self-identity in some ways. Considering that I spend a lot of time inside on the computer and near technology in general, usually this type of place would seem to be the opposite of what I would enjoy, but on the contrary I feel that I have a connection to this place. I think that because I spend so much time inside, this place is what I need sometimes to balance it all out. I would describe myself as an introvert
