Hello Father and Family, As you know I am writing to you from the trenches of the western front in France. The United States of America joined this heinous war in the spring of nineteen hundred seventeen. We joined the fight because of the sinking of the Lusitania and when the German Kiaser sent the note to Mexico to convince them to put themselves against us to assure we will not go to war in Europe. That did not go through because the economic condition of Mexico is not that good enough to fight in a war with the United States.
It is about 6 o’ clock in the morning, and we are in the rest trenches due to continuous firing from a rifle gun and a machine gun. It’s been going on for approximately four hours. There is a short silence and another splutter of about 20 rounds. I turn to my side while sitting in the trench and in doing so, I dislodge some dirt from the side of the trench which of course falls into my ear and mouth. I am going to take a nap, but, I will be fully dressed because the situation I am in demands for it.

At the end of my Junior year I was inducted in the National Honor Society. Prior to my Junior year as I mentioned in my scholarship letter I without a doubt had no clue to what I wanted to do, after taking medical science, and nursing assistant I knew I wanted to either become an Occupational Therapist or a Pediatric Nurse. Before being a part of Honor Society I didn’t even know it existed, so it truly caught me by surprise. Since the beginning of my junior year I knew that I wanted to challenge myself in classes more than before, that was what I did. When I received the letter saying I was to be a part this high honor it felt like the work I had done all year was paying off. It pushed me to want to do more, so I did. I applied at the UW nurse

phone. Later, once I arrived home, I found out my best friend was murdered. Ebaneke did not make it through being a Domestic Abuse victim, she did not survive. The entire months I was out of communication, she was looking for me. I was going through all this harassment, abuse, and I could not hear her. I was so stressed that I could not think. Her family was even looking for me, but I put my all into her murder case to help close it. I suffered a great deal of loss dealing with this matter because domestic abuse has forever changed me. I no longer see Arkansas, especially Little Rock the same anymore. I am afraid to come to Little Rock because of the fear of running into him. I still become paranoid when someone knocks at the door, I get paranoid

Week 6 Narrative Journal: Reflection and Wrap-up One of the highs of this clinical rotation were taking new patients POC and being able to come up with appropriate interventions to treat and progress them within their POC. Another high was being comfortable around patients, and educating them on their condition, their physical therapy interventions and goals. Understanding the documentation system and comfortably documenting treatment sessions was one low I had in the beginning of the rotation.
