Integrity; to walk or way or do what is right As I made my way along the shady street, at a distance my attention was directed towards what seemed to be a life size rag doll of some sort, however as I approached it I came to realize it was no ragdoll at all. Frozen solid where I stood I was shocked to see a what was the corpse of a homeless man laying faced down with his back drenched in blood. Summoning the courage I reached out to turn him over and as I did he suddenly began to breathe. Fearing for my life I quickly jumped back, only to take a clear look at him and to notice that he was the very same man who had mugged me for all my belongings and a little more than eight hundred dollars cash three weeks prior. Knowing it was morally wrong; I always hoping the worse for that man. Little did I know that merely a couple days later he would be at my mercy whether to try and save him or just walk away to let him suffer just like he had made me. Looking at him and thinking long and hard I knew what I had to do. There was no way around it, the anger that was once built up inside of me was now gone and I knew that I had to help him out despite what had happened. Calling 911 and telling them where I was they immediately sent an ambulance to my location. As we waited to what seemed hours I began to wonder that there was some sort of explanation for his actions, due to poor choices in life he was only left with stealing the money other people had worked hard for so that he can eat. However that was no reason to let a man die, especially one that still had a chance for life he seemed to be barely hanging in there. None the less despite his wrong actions in life, I am sure he had tomorrow to look forward to at least watch the view of the sunrise from his hospital bed the next morning. Suddenly the police arrived with the ambulance rushing to the scene not sparing a single second to waste, immediately throwing him onto the ambulance and racing to get to the hospital. Meanwhile the police were asking me questions asking me if I personally knew him or at least knew who he was. Responding with the truth I told
