Since its inception, the internet has proven to be a vital asset to one’s everyday life on multiple occasions. With the aid of the internet, many have been able to successfully overcome any puzzling obstacle presented to them. However, with great power comes great responsibility. In this context the internet has that power. It is the utmost priority that that power be heavily monitored to ensure the best possible future for generations to come. The internet can be a very dangerous place despite its many accolades; due to the overwhelming usage amongst the world's population, the harmful content that has the potential to be viewed, and the slander and backlash of various news sources and social media outlets. So it only makes sense to take the precautions necessary to retaliate against them.
With the internet being implemented into the daily lives of a majority of the population, it’s easy to understand why over usage would be presented as a problem. As Einstein once said “I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots.” The world has become so invested in new technology that times of old are just a memory.
