Imagine being told what you want or not want to hear all the time, imagine being able to say everything you want without any guilt or fear of hurting others, it might sound a little exaggerated, but the world will be way easier if people wouldn't be afraid of communicating. Many people nowadays are in relationships and don't have any type of communication with their partners.There are many of reasons why a relationship or even marriage will fail, however are people aware of them or do they know how to avoid them ? It has been proved that communication is the key to a relationship. Interpreter of Maladies, is a book composed by nine short stories, written by Jhumpa Lahiri, in which the author demonstrates throughout her stories how lack of communication is one of many factors that leads to a relationship to become problematic and will even be the cause of a break up. In most of her stories there is at least one example of lack of communication which leads to a misunderstanding. In every type of relationship there should be communication or else you won't be heard or will be in a unsatisfied relationship full of hidden lies and doubts. Even though, Interpreter of Maladies, is just a book of nine narrated fiction stories, communication is still an issue in plenty 2017.
