Based on what I viewed from the video, I would definitely hire myself. There are more strengths that I feel would outweigh the weakness. Some strengths involved me speaking confidently about the core values that I believe in, to become a stronger and honest individual. However, there are skills that can I improve on interviewee skills. There were some weaknesses that I caught myself as it can be very distracting to the interviewer. Strengths that I witnessed in my interview videos is straight off that I am professionally dressed, shaved, and had a strong posture. First impression are often the first thing that an interviewer would acknowledge and I present myself as a worker. I constantly had a straight back and always keeping myself formal as possible. Other strengths that I saw is that I am well composed. Despite me stuttering so much, I do not get flustered thus preventing myself messing up even more. This is important, because in the past when I get flustered, I would start to mumble. This is a horrible habit as it may annoy the interviewer and present myself as an unconfident person. Additional strengths that I had is that I had hand gestures …show more content…
Throughout the interview it is noticeable that I am stuttering when I am trying to think of something to say. This can be problematic as it can be annoying for the interviewer to listen and it may show off as a sign of being incompetent. The way that I am going to fix this problem is to talk a bit more slowly. I think when I looked over this video, I tend to talk fast when I get nervous. So if I remind myself to talk more slowly, I would stutter less. What I also caught myself doing is that I would say “like” and “you know”. I can avoid this by practicing speaking more in front of the public and record myself if I would do it. Lastly, I found out that I would twitch my eye to the left if I need to think of something. What I would is prepare more what I am going to
Initially, my strengths as an interviewer would stem from my early passion for listening to others in their times of need. I learned through my personal experience with my peers and family that it was they that had the answer to their issues but often needed to talk about their issues to a willing participant to find it. I found that others did not want advice more as they wanted guidance to come to a conclusion they felt comfortable with to hand at that time. Furthermore, with my diverse cultural and socioeconomic background, I was able to experience many different individuals in their unique circumstances. I was able ti understand that diverse individuals were often above their assigned stereotypes and were simply a part of the human condition to which we all subscribe. Lastly, I would attribute my strengths as an interviewer to my past employment experiences. With positions in both the health care and social work, I has much practice with interviewing with a wide range of clients. I was set in formal settings were I was to have individual or group sessions with individuals to discuss issues of personal health or wellbeing. I am confident that my learned skills will carry over and provide an advantage in the field of counseling.
My written strength was that my questions were of a wide variety and that most were connected to the question before them somehow. My verbal strength I think was speaking clearly and calmly. I did not rush through the questions and I would often ask him questions about things he said that I didn’t have written down. My visual strength was sitting calmly. I didn’t fidget or do any nervous gestures. I also had weakness in each category that hindered my interview a little as well. My written weakness was not using vivid words to ask questions. I asked the questions without any metaphors and sometimes examples. My verbal weakness was that a couple times I thought Mr. Hartung was done so I would begin to ask the next question but he would interrupt me and finish answering the question. So, next I time I interview someone I will make sure I give them plenty of time to answer and elaborate on their answers. My visual weakness was not making eye contact enough because I had to write down the answers. I think I would have done better if I taped the interview and wrote down the answers after it was
When I took my strengths test I was not necessarily shocked with what I received, more with what I did not receive. I thought for sure that I would have received positivity because people are always telling me how positive I am. Through learning about my strengths I have come to realize that all five of my strengths together may be the cause of my positive attitude, and all five of my strengths working together constantly are what people see. My strengths are restorative, communication, input, strategic, and achiever.

In the past couple of weeks I found a common theme about my personality and my strengths through Strengthsfinder, MBTI, and the FOCUS 2 assessments. I have come into touch with my strengths of adaptability, competition, empathy, curiosity, communication, and consistency. On all three assessments I have learned that I am an excellent communicator. For example, on the FOCUS 2 assessment I scored a high of twenty five for the strength of being social and had a score of zero for conventional on the bottom of my chart. As for the personality assessment, I learned I was a campaigner. This is somebody who enjoys emotional connections with other people and somebody who thrives off curiosity and energy. Lastly, the Strengthsfinder assessment allowed me to come in touch with
“An applicant's handshake may be crucial at a job interview. But a personality test can tell a company what's behind that handshake” (Korn, 2012). When you think about a job interview you have gone on recently, do you think about what your strengths are? I can assure you that the people interviewing you are looking to see what you strengths are, whether it is in the form of asking you directly or in observing how you interact and answer the questions. I recently did a self-assessment strengths test by using the Strengths

Upon completion of the StrengthsFinder survey, I discovered that my five greatest strengths were Achiever, Discipline, Responsibility, Relator, and Competition. However, I was skeptical about the initial results until I read what each strength entails. I found most of the information given to be accurate. According to the description of those strengths, I discovered that I use them daily without realizing it.
What are your main strengths?Punctuality, adaptability, precision and organisation. These are the strengths I possess, and the qualities that I believe will allow me to excel in this field of work. I would describe myself as having a strong work ethic; I am enthusiastic and dedicated to put in the time and work that is necessary to achieve the task at hand. I also have a lot of motivation to succeed. As an example, during college four students and I were assigned to do a group presentation within a three week deadline. I assigned each of my partners

0.5 points -- What are some individual strengths you can bring to your community care planning team? Explain.
Throughout this interview that was conducted with my brother I learned a lot of things about myself that I never knew before, which will certainly help me in the future when I will be applying for work or volunteer positions. According to my brother I have many strengths, skills, qualities, talents and things that I need to work on. During the interview with my brother he said that my strengths were hard working, considerate, easy-going, generous, responsible, patient, passionate, loyal, dependable and determined. I never knew I obtained half of the strengths he mentioned but when he did I was stunned that he thought all of this about me. I also notice that all of these strengths is important when applying to careers or volunteer work because a manager will want to hire someone that is hard working and
The strengths I have: being efficient and organize. I have to have everything a particular manner before I write, perform, or do almost any jobs. Occasionally this can cost me lots of time. The weaknesses that I have are a perfectionist and impatient at times. I was used to working at a substantially faster rate than those around me. Sharing information and interacting with others is when I learn best. Understanding my weaknesses assists me to plan methods to conquer them when I am doing tasks and socializing with others. I must be kinder to myself and less strict about matters being merely so. I also need to be more delicate and comprehensible of others who tend not to take up my perfectionist styles. I also should be patient with people who take longer time to work. Since I have got a tendency to delay works when I do not feel like doing anything, I, therefore, need to create a regular schedule with integrated rewards and times for learning and acquiring assignments done.
My current strengths include; my honesty and passion towards my work. I have always been positive and confident regarding my aims and targets. Along with these, I am a good decision maker, due to which I can make right and quick decisions. Moreover, I have ability to motivate others and do team work. I am also a responsible person, when I make a target; I work day and night to achieve my goal.
