On Thursday, July 14, 2016, at approximately 0847 hours, Patrolman David Stamets had a vehicle stopped on the 100 block of East Oak Street. Immediately after Stamets stopped the vehicle Your Affiant positioned his vehicle on the 100 block of South White Street near the Oak Street intersection facing southbound. When exiting my vehicle your Affiant observed a gold Pontiac sedan accelerating northbound on South White Street at an unsafe speed towards Stamets and your Affiant's location.
In summary, on 01/04/17 at 1745 hours, Ofc. Kelley #262 and I were patrolling the area of 5600 W 16th St., at which time I observed a vehicle with tinted windows and no rear registration light (05' grey Acura IL Q336438). A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle.
According to police reports, officers were dispatched to a hit and run call in the 700 block of Vassar. A vehicle has struck two parked vehicle and had left the scene. Officer Seachris arrived and made contact with Officer Wheeler who was with the victims of the accident. Officer Wheeler advised that the vehicle was in the 600 block of Vassar. Officer Seachris proceeded to locate the vehicle, a maroon Chevy pickup with Kansas tag of 005HEY parked in front of 646 S Vassar. The vehicle was registered to a Hispanic female at 628 S Vassar. Officer Seachris made contact with the owner of 646 S Vassar, Christopher M. Matthews, who advised hearing a loud crash then seeing a white or Hispanic male with no shirt on, heavyset, bald, and wearing
In summary, on 03/29/16 at 1855 hours I was patrolling the area of 1200 S 54th Ave., at which time I observed a vehicle (red 07' Lexus IL Z161188) traveling northbound in the wrong lane to pass a vehicle at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle occupied with three (3) male subjects.
On August 27, 2015 at approximately 2154 hrs, I observed a gray 2005 Acura TL bearing NJ Reg# J61FHA was driving 69 mph on 55 mph zone on Route 1 north, made a passing on the right lane and change lane again to the middle lane. When the traffic light turned red on intersection between North Oaks Blvd and Route 1 north, I pull my patrol vehicle 558 next to the vehicle as a the vehicle was slowing for the traffic light and I observed interior light on with a driver who had his hand upon his ear and moving his mouth which made me believed that the driver was talking on his cell phone while driving. I positioned my patrol vehicle 558 behind the Acura TL, activated my overhead emergency lights and conducted motor vehicle stop.
While on patrol, I was heading northbound on North Three Notch Street. While traveling, I observed a burgundy Chevy Tahoe traveling southbound in the northbound side of traffic, approaching my patrol vehicle. To keep from being involed in a head on collision, I pulled my patrol vehicle into the Sunoco on North Three Notch Street. I then engaged my lights and siren and attempt to catch up to the violator vehicle. The Tahoe then pulled into the Piggly Wiggly parking lot and that was the final. I then identified the driver as William Anthony Thomas. I advised Thomas that he alost hit me head on and he stated, "I'm sorry, I am too fucked up." Thomas had an strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his expelled breath. Thomas also had red glossy eyes. I then advised Thomas multiple times to step out of the vehicle to perform FST's. I noticed that Thomas had unsteady balance as he was waling to the back of the vehicle.
On Thursday, August 31, 2017 at approximately 2232 hours, I was dispatched to a residence across the street from 2220 University St in reference of a suspicious person inside of a black truck. Upon arrival I spoke to the complainant Ms. Delisa Smothers. Ms. Smothers stated that at approximately 2230 hours, an unknown black male went inside her neighbor's truck located across the street at 2221 University street.
On March 17, 2016, at 1:41 P.M., officer T. Cramblett CPD#1191 was dispatched to he area of Sharon Woods Blvd. and Brookhurst Ave on a narcotics complaint. Radio was advised by a known caller that a white Chevrolet Malibu, occupied by two white females, was parked on the street and were involved in the sales of narcotics. Officer Cramblett was responding to the area when he observed a white Chevrolet Malibu traveling south bound on Beechcroft Rd. Officer G.Meyer CPD# 2333 had also been dispatched on the run, and was traveling north bound on Beechcroft Rd., when he observed the vehicle ,traveling south bound, and aired with radio that it was occupied by two white females. Officers Cramblett observed the vehicle turn east bound onto E. Dublin Granville Rd then initiated a traffic stop just west of Maple Canyon Ave. Officers Cramblett and Myer approached the vehicle and made contact with both occupants advising them of the nature of the stop and asking for
I (Trooper Castillo #6570) was on patrol at 10:43 p.m. on 01/10/18, in the area of I90 southbound and Foster Avenue when I observed a white Nissan Altima entering the expressway from Foster ave cross over 2 lanes of traffic at a high rate of speed cutting off multiple vehicles. The white Nissan then continued southbound at a top speed of 73 mph in a 55 mph zone. I activated my emergency lights and initiated a traffic stop on the white Nissan Illinois registration AE24965. On 10/28/2015, at approximately 0232 hours, Captain O'Neill and your Affiant observed a red Chrysler PT Cruiser (PA Registration JWA5451) traveling south on State Route 924. The operator of the vehicle was observed and identified as Dawn HERRING. HERRING'S driver's license was expired and suspended for driving under the influence; the information was verified through a certified Pennsylvania Department of Transportation record. HERRING was observed traveling under the posted speed limit and repeatedly swayed her vehicle throughout the lane. Your Affiants activated the emergency lights on the marked patrol vehicle and stopped HERRING at the entrance of the Transfer Station.
On 06-10-17 at approximately 1821 hrs., Officer Bunton and I were advised Michael J. Renner was in a green vehicle at Dollar General, 714 S. Main St. I was aware Renner had an active warrant for being a parole absconder. As I responded to the location after Bunton advised on the radio Renner was fleeing. After Bunton advised Renner was traveling toward Hyatt St. I proceeded toward the S. Brunswick St. and Hyatt St. intersection. I observed a green Buick traveling westbound on Hyatt St. at a high rate of speed. I then noticed Officer Bunton a couple blocks behind the Buick with his lights and siren activated. I pulled onto Hyatt St., activated my red and blue emergency lights and siren and proceeded after the green Buick. The vehicle traveled from Hyatt St. onto S. On 09/18/2015, at approximately 0058 hours, West Mahanoy Township Police Officer Joshua Pastucka observed a brown convertible driving in a slow manner in front of the Shenandoah Borough Police Department. He observed the vehicle circle the Police Department twice and frequently stopping in his travel. Officer Pastucka proceeded towards the vehicle observed the operator and identified him as Robert CONRAD. Officer Pastucka is familiar with CONRAD and had prior knowledge his license and vehicle registration was suspended. When CONRAD proceeded behind the Shenandoadh Borough Police Department on the second occassion Officer Pastucka entered behind him and made contact with him. CONRAD attempted to exit his vehicle and while doing so he had a difficult time opening the door. Once out of his vehicle he had a staggered gait and stumbled into the quarter panel of his vehicle. While on patrol, I was parked in the entrance to Mansard's plaza, facing E Ridge Rd, monitoring traffic. A female in a silver pickup truck pulled into the lot and flagged me down. The female pointed towards a white and maroon Corvette traveling east on Ridge Rd and stated that she believes the driver may be intoxicated. I immediately pulled onto Ridge Rd and got behind the Corvette. As I was following the Corvette east on Ridge, another vehicle with a male driver pulled up to the side of me and shouted out the window, "That guy is drunk". On 03/04/17, Deputy Cody Martin, attempted to make a traffic stop for a defective license plate light on Highway 161 @ Wooten Road. When Deputy Martin initiated his emergency lights, the vehicle turned east onto Wooten Road; failing to yield to Deputy Martin. Deputy Martin continued following the vehicle, and in the area of Boyd Road he initiated his siren and advised he was in pursuit.
