After Ted had left, Angela refused to speak to Katherine. “Kid, you’re acting more childish then Irwin.” “Irwin, when you’re done, can I have the book.” “What?” He looked up from reading, “Oh yeah, of course.” He hid his face back into the book, Angela hadn’t seen him turn the page once. A gust of wind blew Angela over. “Come with me.” Katherine told her before disappearing behind the curtain. Pushing herself off the ground she stared defiantly at the closed curtain, not moving from her spot. “If you don’t go then she’ll make you, and you don’t want that.” Irwin had once again reemerged from behind his book. His eyes twinkled behind his glasses as he stared at Angela. “She’ll tell you when she’s ready.” “I don’t know, I think that she can keep a secret for a long time.” Angele bit her tongue, she hadn’t meant to speak those words aloud.
