I Am Malala is an extraordinary biography of a young girl that stood up for what she believed in, received not one, but three bullets to the head and continued to fight on. That is the definition of a fighter, someone with a dream. Some would even call Malala a hero. Ms. Yousafzai had everything lined up in place and drawn out in a perfect setting for her to become a hero and role model around the world for not only those fighting for the right to an education, but those who fight for women’s rights as well. From the moment she was born she was oppressed by the world around her, as only her father, uncle and a few select other chose to celebrate her birth because she was a girl in a culture that clearly valued men over women. With the guidance

I am Malala is a heroic story about a young woman who stood up for what she wanted. This auto-biography is based on a teenager named Malala Yousafzi who stood up for girls education in her home country Pakistan. She also went against the Taliban because she didn't think it was right of what they were doing to her innocent village. When Malala was born very few people came to congratulate her parents because the birth of a girl is seen as a failure of the parents in her culture. She was born and raised in Sway Valley, Northeastern Pakistan. Swat Valley has beautiful scenery which attracts a lot of tourism until the Taliban took over the valley. Malala’s parents Ziauddin and Toor Pekai were very kind humble people from the mountain villages. Malala’s father was a very well educated man who grew up studying poetry and literature. He also started the Khushal School a three years before Malala was born. ”My father started the school three years before I was born, and he was a teacher, accountant, and principal—as well as a janitor, handyman, and chief mechanic.” (Chapter 1, Page 20) In Malala’s culture, girls are refused an education or even simply knowing how to read and write. Her father helped girls by starting the school and making a big influence on girls. Malala is truly a hero throughout this paper you will see how she changed everything.
Malala Yousafzai was a talented and brave young woman who had one goal in life: to get an education and encourage others to do the same. Born in Pakistan, Malala did not grow up with many resources, but she was lucky enough to have a father that shared the same goal as her. At the young age of fifteen, she was shot in the face by the Taliban for standing up for girls’ rights to an education. Although the recovery time was long and hard, the Taliban did not silence her as she continued her campaign. This eventually led her to opening her own school in Yemen and writing the novel I Am Malala. As someone who highly values education and bravery, her story made me interested in learning more about her culture, family, and experiences.
After reading the book ‘’I Am Malala’’ I noticed that she was one of the bravest strong young girls in the world. Malala Yousafzai is a young girl born on July 12, 1997, in the city, Mingora in Pakistan. She fought for something that is she is passionate about. Heroes are people who stand up for something, they are courageous, they are noble and they are loyal to something they stand for. Malala is known as the fifteen-year-old girl who got shot because she fought for women’s rights and education. This young girl named Malala is brave, persistent, and influential.
Malala Yousafzai being a completely different person that any girl in her country demonstrates the gruesome ,and savage nature of the men and women in the country of Pakistan. She not only shows the unawareness driven by fright among the people there, but displays how horrid it truly was. Influences of a misinterpretation form of Islam yield the innocent under the hands of the miserable forces of the evil such as the Taliban. Subsequently, the country of Pakistan under Taliban rule has gone through continuous fear and discriminations that strip girls from their education. Malala Yousafzai, a young Pakistani woman who only wanted an education, was obligated to view her life at its worst and at the same time, view the desire and dreams of girls who brawl for their education that they have been denied. Yousafzai has glimpsed and lived through a world that no American child could have ever imagined and cherishes an education what no child would have imagined losing. Nonetheless, through her novel, I Am Malala, Yousafzai has put into effect an extraordinary and a determined message to the world of a sincere love for education and peace. Malala utilizes strong repetition, vivid imagery, and powerful ethos in her biography to make it stand out extremely.
In 2012, word of Malala Yousafzai spread around the world. She had been shot in the head for standing up for girls’ education. Malala is a teenager who displays many attributes that all heroes show, no matter what time period they are in or how old they are. These attributes consist of courage, determination, and selflessness.
The documentary He named me Malala is about a girl who stood up for education and got shot by taliban. It talks about her life and the struggles she faced when she was in Swat Valley. It also shows what the terrorists are doing and why they are not letting girls to get education. Malala got shot by taliban when she was twelve years old. Everyone was worried that she will not be able to survive but luckily she did survived. She is doing many campaigns about women's educational rights worldwide.
“If you don’t speak up now, if you don’t stand up now, you will be slaves forever” (abcnew.com). Heroes, like the woman preaching these lines, are leaders who strive to put out a helping hand no matter the consequence. Malala was compassionate and took a stand for her and everyone's good. Just like other heroes, Malala made history without the intent of being rewarded for what she accomplished. Heroes like Malala stand up for what is right even if they could be facing a challenge. Heroism is a trait that many carry without knowing it. Heroes are people who always put others first without the intention of receiving anything in return. A hero is someone who changes another person's life doing an act of kindness or bravery. Heroes may not

I would never think a 16 year old girl could write such an amazing and inspiring book. The Hardships of life in The book, I Am Malala, broadened my perspective of life. This book helped me perceive life as an important gift; it led me to realize that humans have to perfect themselves from the inside rather than the outside. As Malala said, “It doesn’t matter what I look like. I am alive.
Are you a hero? What do you think defines a hero? Being a hero is not someone who is greedy or someone who changes the world. Anybody can be a hero and change the world
