In this 21st Century the growing trend is to change how you look to be accepted in this society. While most feel to need to say its ok to do this, is it really acceptable? Especially on our younger society, who looks up to everyone that alters themselves to somehow reach the unreachable idea of perfection. The more people decide to alter themselves to reach perfection or to "fit in,” The more we are teaching our children that Hey! Its ok to not love who you are, You should change to meet everyone else's standards.” Plastic Surgery gives Children a false sense of self image in society. When you think of plastic surgery, what do you think of first? Im sure it isnt the risk involved with the procedure that will undergo to become a “new you” No one ever thinks of the true risk of plastic surgery, or even the cost of undergoing the procedures. While celebrities have all the money in the world to pay for their surgeries, lower classes have to make quite an adjustment in their budgets to get such surgeries performed. Some even go bankrupt because they feel the need to fix themselves, or even fix their young childs face or body, when their child isnt even done developing their body to its final stage.
