Is There Pressure on Girls to Have Perfect Bodies From the time little girls are born, the pressure become a beautiful woman begins. Before they arrive home, baby girls are placed in a beautiful cozy blanket, a beautiful pink hat, a camera from that moment the prepping for a beautiful life begins. Throughout their childhoods young women constantly persuaded to sit up, suck it in and smile to look pretty. As early as their first birthdays women are endowed with societies ideology of beauty in the form of a Barbie. With a perfect figure, perfect hair and long slim legs, Barbie becomes a girl’s first real role model. Barbie never ages and always looks great no matter what.
