It’s the right to bear arms. In the United States it is a right to carry a concealed weapon on one’s self at all time. Concealed weapons are becoming a controversy through the second amendment, background checks, the laws regarding these weapons, and the use of these weapons. The Second Amendment states that every person is entitled to “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed,”(Moeller). This rule allows people to freely own and operate weapons of their own choice. Since these laws have come upon The United States there has been, “over 1,000 Second Amendment cases challenging gun laws nationwide, with an overwhelming majority—94%—of the lower court decisions upholding those laws,”(Langley). Even with the majority of the cases being upheld, it could be considered an infringement on a person to control their rights and liberates. The government has been doing a lot to crack down on handgun violence, but while doing so has stirred the pot with many individuals who believe the right to bear an arm is an entitlement. While observing concealed carry laws, there are some factors to take into consideration. First off, what do these laws stand for and why is it so relevant to each and every American citizen?
