Ethically the company will not have shipped out a known defective product but consumer moral will be lowered due to not receiving everything that they have paid for. The company operated morally but did not give the consumer what they asked for. Recommendation I would personally recommend that we cancel the order and shipment. We should remake this product to specifications before sending the order out to the customer. This will show that the company is acting morally and cares about the end user which in this case is children. I recommend calling the customer and telling them why this order has to be cancelled. Giving them this information will help us keep the trust we currently share with the customer. If we are to continue to prosper as a company we have to act morally and continue to build bonds. Word of mouth between customers will influence overall customer retention and people will like to know how we handled this situation. Option two can be justified due to the fact that it will produce the best overall results. The company image will be maintained utilizing this option. Although the company will be losing money on wasted product and labor, the consumers’ confidence will increase due to the fact that they will be ensured that safety is one of the key factors in our product. I believe stock prices will remain the same or increase once investors see how we reacted fast

The biggest environment force affected Mattel recently has been legal and regulatory with the high levels of lead paint found in their die-cast toys in 2007. This issue created a voluntary recall from Mattel for over 2 million toys and created doubt in customers to the quality of their Mattel toys. Mattel responded by immediately implementing a check system to accept paint only from certified suppliers, tightened controls throughout the production process and testing every production run to ensure compliance. Mattel said that it is working in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and other regulatory agencies worldwide. Mattel is also working with retailers worldwide to identify and remove affected products from retail shelves.
For example David Busst would have a significant scar tissue from where he broke his fibula and tibula as when he did break those bones they ripped through his skin meaning it was a compound break. It is likely that he would have a scar from where they bone went through the skin and a scar from where his leg was re straightened and put into his leg again. For example he may have a scar similar to the scar tissue in the diagram below but it may be very deep due to the extent of his injury.

Throughout the entirety of Task 1 I faced many challenges and I was also gifted with many positives. One of the first few things that went quite well for me was that when I was put into my group most of us had already worked together prior to this task. Also being that we had already worked together we knew what we were interested in, so this made choosing our topic rather easy. Then we decided which lense we would each be tackling this process went almost just as easily however we did have to do some preliminary research prior to setting our lenses in stone. This was because we wanted to make sure that when we did each choose our lense that we did not in any way overlap each other's information in what we were planning to discuss. So then
