I am writing this letter of recommendation to express my support for Keyshia Martin in her application for the Jackie Lajeunesse Scholarship Award. Thank you to the Ontario Ringette Association for organizing this rewarding opportunity for a great supporter of ringette. Last season, I had the pleasure of coaching Keyshia on the Elora Fergus U19A team. I have a great deal of respect for Keyshia as it can be difficult to join a new team full of girls who have played together for years; however, she embraced the challenge and embarked on the goal of winning Provincials and the Eastern Canadian Championships. Achieving these goals occurred as a result of her excellent attendance to games and practices which is critical to success. Keyshia always
On 11/23/16 I met Mr. Westover and his daughter Jackie Syms. Mr. Westover has made good progress with the continued physical therapy. He has resumed driving locally. Mr. Westover reported he had been in the hospital for 5 days recently for pneumonia. He is not using his cane now unless it is slick outside. He reports still feeling weak in the left leg. The Neurontin did work but Mr. Westover reported he stopped taking it and feels fine. Per Ms. Syms Mr. Westover’s PCP has him taking the blood thinner again. Mr. Westover agreed to take it until January 2017. Mr. Westover asked to have his home physical therapy continue, he doesn’t want to drive on winter roads. The last update from therapy asked for 3 more weeks and then they would
It’s with great privilege to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Machayla Longfoot, a Senior FFA member at Judson High School. Machayla is an outstanding student and a valuable part of her FFA chapter. Over the past three years she has developed into one of the strongest leaders in her chapter. Machayla is someone her fellow FFA members look up to and seek guidance from. She can be counted on and is a good organizer when something needs to be accomplished.
On February 28, 2005, I experienced one of the most exciting events that anyone could ever experience – winning a State Championship. The day my soccer team made history is a day I’ll never forget. However it is not just that day we won the title, but the whole experience of the preceding season that got us there. From start to finish, my team’s 2004-2005 season taught me that the platitude is true. You can do anything you set your mind to.
It is a true pleasure for me to write this letter of recommendation for Magaly Resendez, whom I have had the opportunity of teaching for the past two years. She was in my World History class as a sophomore and is currently in my U.S. History class as a junior.
It is with great honor that I write this letter of recommendation for Treniya Bronaugh. I have watched Treniya grow from a toddler to a high school student. Not only has this observation been one of her physical growth, but one of character development. She is like family, as both our families shared the same last name and we grew up calling each other cousins.
”Kati-Jayde is just beginning to scratch the surface of the type of player she’ll be and the accolades that will come,” said Centenary Assistant Athletic Director for Recreation and Facilities and former Ladies soccer coach David Orr. “She is very humble with such honors, which tells you about the level of her character. Kati-Jayde is a huge part of the reemergence of the Ladies soccer program.”
That type of attitude has certainly worked with her teammates as they look up to her as a role model and as someone who will push each player in the team in being the best they can be.
This week the intern, Latasha Willis, used her critical thinking skills when entering data for the clients at the agency she is interning at this term. The agency serves many counties. The county that the intern was entering data for was Macon County. The intern noticed that the data showed what population is served the most. The data showed that there are more African Americans being served than any other race. The data also showed that most of the clients were around 82 to 90 years old. The intern was entering the data from the referral forms that are completed when a client is referred to the agency. The service that was being provided was “home delivered meals”. On the referral forms the intern noticed that it was the client’s basic information
Please accept this letter of reference for Sabrina Valenti, as an applicant into your advance standing MSW program. I have known Sabrina in my role as faculty advisor and instructor for her field I and Field II practice courses at University of Saint Joseph (USJ). Sabrina performed well in her studies and I believe since she has been working for the past 2 years as a Human Service Worker, she is more than ready to take on the challenges of graduate school.
It is my great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Deedrian Taylor. I have had the privilege of knowing Deedrian for ten years. During the 2005-2006 school year, Deedrian volunteered in my second grade classroom, at Riviera Elementary School. In recent years, Deedrian has been a substitute teacher not just for my fifth grade class but several other classes at Riviera. Deedrian developed a positive rapport with my students from the first day, bringing much to our classroom with her creativity and enthusiasm. She has many strengths that will make her as asset to your institution.
ntern, Latasha Willis, entered data this week. The agency is going through changes for the systems that they are using and they are receiving training to better understand the new system. Intern’s supervisor, Ms. Averett, let her know that the agency is behind on their data entry and needs more data to be entered. Intern is helping with entering more data for the month of March 4/4-4/6. Intern went to an event with Ms. Brown with the Columbus Parks and Rec. The event was to recognize the volunteers and to show them that they are appreciated. There was lunch served for them and a video presentation for the volunteers. We were there to pass out our brochures letting them know about the agency and to also recruit volunteers.
As an avid soccer player, I dream of mirroring Abby Wambach’s character. Abby’s drive motivated her, teammates, and opponents to play well. She refused to lose, literally putting her body on the line for her team. Abby’s respect for the game is equally admirable. Moments after a heartbreaking 2011 World Cup loss, Abby respectfully put her quest to win aside and congratulated the Japanese team. To Abby, “It’s not about the actual failure; it’s about how you respond to it.” Despite numerous accolades, Abby also remains humble, crediting her goals to great passes from teammates and personally raising the bar with each achievement. Abby’s drive, respect, and humbleness reflect the person I dream of becoming, and the Syracuse University
Wherever she ends up after high school I am sure she will be a major asset. Le’ianna carries herself in a very lady-like manner and does not tolerate disrespect and she is very respectful of others. I hope that my letter will aide Le’ianna in being a part of your program and that you will be able to experience this bright and powerful young lady the same way I have. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope Le’ianna will have the opportunity to show you how amazing she
I am pleased to write a letter of recommendation for Nikko Malabanan. I have had the pleasure of working with Nikko as his Professor while he attended Lone Star College Certified Nursing Assistant Program this past spring 2017.
With the opportunity of a fresh start in front of us, I believe now is the time to make the changes this program needed five plus seasons ago. My first year on the team was both very exciting and intimidating. It couldn’t have been more than two days into the season before I was taken under the wing of senior captain Laura. She began to teach me the ropes of the program I would dream of leading myself one day. As a new captain, Laura explained to me her goals as a leader and what she hoped to bring to the Prior Lake Girls’ Hockey Team. As I look back to the very beginning of my high school hockey career, I have yet to see this team achieve the goals Laura set that year. What I will write about is what I have learned what makes some leaders more successful than other, and why
