Janet Jackson is the younger sibling of nine sibling, she is the sister of soul legend Michael Jackson the world’s greatest popstar. She was born on May, 1966 in Gary, Indiana to parents Joseph and Katherine Jackson, her birth name given at birth is “Janet Damita Jo Jackson”. Janet Jackson is a producer, dancer and singer one of the top best-selling artist in contemporary history, some of her most popular albums consist of Control and Rhythm Nation. Some of her hit singles includes “Nasty”, “That’s the way Love Goes”, “Rhythm Nation”, “Together Again”, and “All for You.”

The movie did not earn her any success but received an Oscar nomination for “Again” which was on the soundtrack for the movie selling over six million copies. Her album Janet co-written by her husband Rene Elizondo with created ideas from Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis became a worldwide success becoming the first to enter Billboard Top 200 for a female artist selling 350,000 copies in the United States in one week and 950,000 worldwide. In 1995, she produced a song with her brother Michael titled “Scream” the music video along cost $7 million dollars the most expensive video every made in the music industry. Also in the same year A&M records released her first greatest hit album ‘Design of A Decade 1864/1996’ it included all of her hits from the album ‘Control’ and “rhythm Nation 1814’ and two new recordings ‘Runaway’ and ‘Twenty Foreplay’ after a huge success, in 1996 she re-negotiated with Virgin Records for $80 million making her the highest paid recording artist of all
