Personal Question
Why do I keep my Jeep when it keeps breaking down on me? That is the question that I have asked myself multiple times over the summer. To this day, I have put more time, effort and money into my Jeep than it is actually worth. So why continue to restore this beautifully ancient beast? Well, the answer is actually very simple; I love working on it. When I was first told that I was getting an automobile, I expected to go out and hand pick one that I deemed suitable for my everyday tasks. To my surprise, my father pretty much narrowed the selection process down for me, providing me with a specific list of Craigslist adds that he had compiled during his work day. After browsing this selection, I had settled on a 1987 light blue Jeep Wrangler, with a soft top and a sport roll cage. This jeep came with the legendary fuel injected 4.0 Liter, 6 cylinder engine, aptly nicknamed the “Tank”, due to its sturdy construction of cast iron. The fact that we found this jeep for under five-thousand dollars was astonishing to me, so I immediately jumped on the opportunity presented to me. When my father and I had finally settled on this Jeep, we drove to savannah to inspect it ourselves. When we arrived at the seller’s house, we

Regardless of how many scratches, or as I like to call them, “battle scars” it has, I can always rely on it to start up in the morning and take me where I need to go without incident. Even though I was apprehensive at first to preform even the most menial everyday maintenance on this beast, I have grown accustomed to it over time. I might even go as far as to say I’ve started to love the laborious dirty work. While most may not have the patience to work on it, I find it relaxing to get under the hood every so often, if not only to get my hands dirty even if a job isn’t
The history of Jeeps has always interest me because they have been around longer than any other manufacture in the world of automobiles. The creation of the Jeep had given the U.S. an upper hand in World War II. Jeep would change society in many different ways during the war and after the war. However, due to changes in production of the Jeep, evolution of the brand during the war, and the contributions Jeep made to society after World War II, this research will to show how the jeep was effective during the war and how it changed america forever.

Carroll Shelby, the inventor of mustang once said, Racing has reached the point where it is pricing the young driver, no matter his talent, out of the game.
I 'like dodge challengers because they are fast cool and colurful. They sound pretty sweet too. The reeason is because Do you like cheese. cheece tstles like fuud and fu is guoughtd becuse musn t mom. Dodge vipers are also cool because they are also fast because gtrs are sweet as well. therefore this essay proves that Jr challengers also known as chargers are equally as fast as bugatti veyrons
Camaro, a car that is easily recognizable on the streets today is probably one of the most iconic and controversial cars that hit the streets in 1967. For over 45 years the Camaro has exceeded expectations and often surpassed the likes of its adversaries, the challenger and the iconic mustang. Critiques often thought that the Camaro would fall short especially to the mustang due to the fact that it has a 3-year jump on the Camaro, but sales records and Trams Am racing titles might mean that the Camaro is doing just fine. Even though the Camaro is still going strong for over 45 years it hasn’t been easy. Workers strikes, recalls, even ending the production of the Camaro were just a few of the Camaro’s

The day my parents drove into the driveway with a Jeep was one of the most exciting days in my life. Although it would be six long months before I actually had a driver's license, the Jeep represented freedom. Still to this day, I am grateful for the privilege to roll down the top and blast my music. But, I’m still a kid with a desire to one day go from zero to sixty in less than three seconds. The Jeep is enjoyable but I hope one day earn enough money to buy a Dodge Hellcat for many reasons.
The clean, low mileage, comfortable riding red truck that my father once drove has become, over the years, a scratched, dented, and rough riding daily driver that my brother and I can barely fit in the back of. Red Roy, as we like to call it, is a 1996 maroon red Toyota T100 with nearly 300,000 miles on it. Surprisingly, this old truck has never had any serious problems. My father would not trade his truck for anything due to the sentimental value that it holds in our family. My dad purchased it, and everyone in the family has driven and ridden in it. The value of a man’s truck after so many years only increases no matter the actual value of it.
The Jeep market has identified the U.S. psychographic traits such as people who are outgoing in nature, enjoy leisure time, with personalities that enjoy fun, like spending time with their families, love exploring out doors and so on. The U.S. market shows that the Jeep Wrangler target market is customers who are adventurous, enjoy the outdoors, and have a sense of freedom. Because of which, they purchase vehicles that are a true reflection of their personality and the Jeep Wrangler which is considered to be cool, has great capability and is fun to drive is their preferred choice. Additionally, less than 30% of people who purchase the Jeep Wrangler have children while more than half of people who purchase the Wrangler Unlimited have children (FCA, 2012). The Jeep Cherokee’s target market is for people who have an active lifestyle and this is complemented by the vehicle’s off-road
If you follow me on Snapchat (which you probably don't) you'll have noticed that I've recently upgraded my whip of choice. For the last week your boy has been cruising around in a super clean Infiniti Q50. Now, that's just my loaner, as my recent purchase is still getting worked on before pickup, but point is I'm moving on from my vehicle of the past seven years. As welcome as this is in so many ways, the part of me that is constantly depressingly nostalgic is aching inside.
The first sports cars built by Ford were not called the mustang. In 1964 the first mustang was built and and went for sale. The car was an instant success for Ford. It quickly became a instant seller because of the options and price. In this time many people couldn’t afford a nice car but the mustang made it possible. The car also became a cultural icon because of its uses in movies and other advertisement methods. The first mustang was a 2 seater with a mid engine v4 engine. In order for the car to be affordable for the average people they had to think of ways to lower the price and make the car to be efficiently built. In order for ford to do this they used the idea of interchangeable parts. They took parts from different ford cars already in production and used them for the mustang. The reason this helps lower the price is because they sytems are already in place to
I have finally come to a conclusion after my many days of extensive research. The annals of Jeep history have been steadily sifted through and I can safely say I am ready to make a decision as to what direction our new owner’s manual for the 2017 Grand Cherokee should be based off of. Although it might seem like a radical idea, I feel that the departure from the design style of days prior is not the course we should pursue. Instead, I would like to bring to your attention the old 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Manual (2002). I feel it accomplishes several things that the newer versions just do not do, or they do at a sub-standard level. The three main reasons that this older version is superior are the font, headings, and audience awareness of the
In the United States crime rates have been on a decline for years, but the United States still has the largest number of people incarcerated in the world. The “war on drugs” as well as policy’s by the government to be “tough on crime” has lead to the uprising of corporate prisons, which are known as for-profit prisons, and private prisons. Private prisons have also lead to States, and federal prisons to become worse when it comes to programs to rehabilitate those who are incarcerated, so that they can function in society as a productive member of it. The conflict between private prisons, and States/federal prisons has worsened prison conditions for both men, and women who are incarcerated.
When something malfunctions it forces me to think about all the possible causes of the problem. It might be this. Or it might be that. To find the root of the problem I read the owner’s manual, online forums, and ask others for help sometimes. Even after all that probing into the situation, the true cause might still be foggy. Rather than giving up I work til I find the solution, no matter how long it
