Roger Shockley was incarcerated in Madison County jail at the beginning of the case opening. Roger was placed in reception at Graham Correctional Center for the months of January and February. In the end of February Roger was transfer to Big Muddy Correctional Center. Roger has not made contact with this worker about his transfer or services he is engaging in at Big Buddy Correctional Center.
Justin Ross Harris, 33, a father who allegedly left his son in a hot car to die, has once more appeared in court. The prosecutors of the case have alleged that Harris purposely left his almost two-year-old son strapped into his car seat in June of 2014. Before this, he took him for breakfast to Chick-fil-A. Later, Harris told investigators of criminal law that he did not realize Cooper stayed locked inside the vehicle while he went to work.

On October 20, 2017, several Police Officers responded to a physical altercation happening on the 700 block of Wabash Ave, Atlantic City NJ. As a result of the altercation 2 men identified as Alphonso Johnson Sr, and Alphonso Johnson, Jr. were stabbed and taken to Atlantic Care Trauma Center in Atlantic City. Lonnie Taylor was arrested and positively identify as the suspect by a witness.

DFCS worker accompanied Investigation Terry Smith to 317 West Main St, Sardis, MS due to reports coming to the Sheriffs Department alleging that Dakota, his girlfriend Kynli, and Dalton are staying in a home alone with no adults. The concerns individual also stated to Invest. Smith that the children were not in school. Kynli is pregnant and will be having her baby within the next month. After going to the home Invest. Smith and DFCS worker were able to assess that the allegations were true and the home was filthy and no adults were in the home and the children were not going to school. On June 23rd, 2013, students from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, met up at a local bar called The Tin Roof. The man, a promising football starter from the school named Brandon Vandenburg, and the victim, a woman who knew him from school, were drinking copious amounts of alcohol. Vandenburg had given her three to four drinks that night, and after the fourth one, a blue drink called a “California Long Island Iced Tea”, she remembered nothing. The next morning, she woke up in his dorm room with no recollection of the night before. Video evidence from the accused and their friends indicated that the four men had sexually assaulted the victim, using both a weapon (a water bottle) and their hands.

In a political demonstration during the Republican National Convention in Texas, Gregory Lee Johnson doused an American flag with kerosene and set it on fire. During the burning of the flag, the demonstrators shouted, “America, the red, white, and blue, we spit on you.” No one was hurt but some witnesses said they were offended. During this quarter, Reggie experienced crisis with his prescribed psychiatric medications. Reggie self-disclosed to the MHSS provider that he has been taking both his AM and PM medication all at once. The reason why he did that was mainly because he was afraid he might not remember to take either of his medications. The staff explained to Reggie the side effect and the consequences of taking both medications at once that he could potential face while overdosing.
