I am a Case Manager at Western Correctional Institution (“WCI”), employed by the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (“DPSCS”), Division of Correction in Cumberland, Maryland. I have been employed by DPSCS for over __ years.

After starting his barber shop, he keeps a diary and he used it until he died. He also owned a bathhouse and bookstore.He married named Ann Battles, who was also a free african american. They had about 11 children before Johnson died. He lived in the free town of Natchez, and he almost had about three thousand dollars in 1835. As a resident of New Orleans there are many historic events that shaped us into the wonderful, soulful city that we are today. There is one person in particular, who has played a major role in bringing the state of Louisiana together through football. He even created summer football camps to keep the youth out of trouble, which ultimately kept some of the city’s crime rate down. When discussing legends that deserve a monument, who represents New Orleans, Tom Benson is the number one candidate. Tom Benson’s history with the city of New Orleans really began in 1985 when he acquired the Saint’s and in 2012 when he acquired the Pelicans basketball team also formerly known as the Hornets.

William Johnson was born a slave in the year 1809 but was freed by his owner, probably his father in 1820. His owner had earlier released William’s sister and mother. William Johnson upon being freed became a barber apprentice in Natchez town. William’s brother-in-law had a barbershop which he took over in 1830 and later on got married to Amy Battles. They had eleven children. Amy was a free person and just like William was black (National Humanities Center Resource Toolbox, 2007). William Johnson went on to operate several barbershops, owned land, and rented buildings. He also had a bathhouse and regularly loaned white and black people money which was paid at an interest. Like other free blacks in the South, William Johnson owned slaves and at times sold them too. The diary is a record of his daily personal endeavors, majorly about the payment of his debts, the items he bought and the running of his family. William was murdered by a free black man, Baylor Winn, with whom they had a boundary conflict. Despite his murderer being identified, he escaped prosecution since according to his evidence, he was a white man, and so no black man could testify against him (Humanities Center Resource Toolbox, 2007).

William Wells Brown was born a slave but died a free man. He wrote an autobiography about his life as a slave. He went into detail of how he and others were treated so cruelly. His master had owned forty slaves, they lived on a rather large plantation and their main production was of hemp and tobacco. This plantation was located some forty odd miles from St. Charles, Missouri. The master had no family but kept a female slave in the house with him to oversee the plantation. Every morning at four, a bell would sound, this was the signal to get up, eat and get to work. If any slave was late to the fields they would immediately receive ten lashes from the negro-whip. In March 1, 2009, suspect Lawrence Henry Lewis and Lawrneil Henry Lewis and their cousin Alejandro Sam Gray threw a large piece of concrete at customers in a gay bar in Galveston, Texas. Butler A.Jones was born in Birmingham Alabama on July 22,1916. Butler A.Jones was the son of Nettie Butler Jones his mother and Roscoe C.Jones his father. After the death of Butlers mother , Butler was then raised b y his grand parents who had been born during the time of slavery. Butler A.Jones graduated from More house College in 1937. The United States of America has a very dark and very deep history no one ever talks about. Joseph Plumb Martin was born on the country side of Western Massachusetts in 1760. He spent the early years of his like growing up with his father who was Pastor. Joseph’s father was a very out spoken individual in the community and sometimes too carefree with expressing his ideals. Still early in Joseph’s life he started living with his prosperous grandfather and continued to until he joined the Connecticut State militia in June 1776. When Joseph joined he was only 15 years old but still anxious and excited for a new experience. Just from his first short stretch in the militia Joseph partook in multiple battles. When the United States of America joined World War 1 in 1917 the rst of the world had been at war for three years. The U.S. deployed an estimated 4,355,000 troops to around the world. Around 204,004 of them returned home injured. Henry Johnson was one of those soldiers.

Jamar clark African American, 24 years old was shot by the minneapolis police on november 15 2015. Two officers were involved Mark Ringgenberg and Dustin Schwarze, protestants of black life matters and other institutions that support civil rights are unsatisfied because no charges were pressed against the two officer. In my opinion the death of Jamar Clark is not justified with enough evidence that proves the innocence of the officers.

Russell Edwards, the owner of a 126-year-old shawl, which was claimed to have been found at one of Jacks murder scenes, states that he has found DNA evidence identifying Jack. The shawl was believed to have been found at Catherine Eddowes’, the fourth victim, murder scene. Edwards claims that he has a letter that proves that the shawl belonged to Sergeant Simpson, who was on duty the night of Eddowes’ murder (Conner). According to record, Simpson never washed the shawl of the blood and put it into storage, where it stayed until being sold to Edwards.
