Noah Buss 4B Mr. Barco 5/7/15 Jesus Have you ever heard of the Son of God who did to save millions of people lives? That man was Jesus and he is still worshipped and loved today. He chose to die on the cross for our sins. He loved and cared for us and we are told to do love as he loved us. This miraculous man’s story starts in Bethlehem. Jesus was born in Bethlehem somewhere around 4 B.C. by Mary. God had needed someone to give birth to Jesus. Jesus chose Mary because she was very patience and remained pure. At that time Mary was around 13 or 14 and was in a relationship with a man by the name of Joseph. When Mary was noticeably pregnant Joseph shunned her and Mary tried to tell him that god sent the baby, but Joseph didn’t believe her.…show more content…
Nearby shepherds were told by God to not be afraid for a savior have been born to them. Jesus was baptized and the beginning of his ministry began when he was about 30 years old. Therefore, Jesus’ ministry was about three and a half years long. In that unbelievable short amount of time, Jesus did what no one could have ever done. Jesus went to Israel as a savior, but Israel disowned him. During the three and a half year period of ministry, he proved to thousand that God was the true father almighty. He preached sermons, and enlightened many about parables that continue to challenge millions of people in today’s society. He cured hundreds of crippled and diseased people, calmed storms effortlessly, provided food for 5,000 people, walked on water without any worry, and trained only 12 men. 11 of them would soon travel the world and teach people about the gospel of the Lord Jesus. Jesus Christ usually spoke the most important truths to only one person, the Samaritan woman at the well who is unnamed. Having been rejected by people in Jesus’ hometown, as to include his family members, Jesus taught his works in cities around Galilee. He selected employing people like fishermen to follow him and learn his teachings. Jesus became friends with common people and ate with them. He opposed and shunned religious leaders, who envied and disapproved of him. Jesus taught in many different places. These places include the temple
