Jesus’ Impact Through Words

His teachings made life on earth better, His message brought healing to the nations, and His ministry brought the dead back to life (Backholer). Jesus Christ, or Jesus of Nazareth, was a prophet, teacher, and holy man who became the face of Christianity. Jesus is a major part of the world, and has managed to influence 70.6% of the United States alone. His message and word have affected the religion, culture, and the whole world 's way of thinking.

Christianity is the world 's largest and leading religion encompassing 2.1 billion followers. Jesus is the central figure of Christianity. Christianity began as an idea centered around a single appealing teacher sharing His word with a group, and has blossomed into a strong uniform religion. Followers of the Christian faith base their beliefs on the life, teachings, and death of Jesus Christ (Wellman). Jesus was crucified on a cross. His death made salvation and forgiveness of sins possible for all (Wellman). Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (25...Bible Verses- Matthew 19:14). He taught and preached about heaven, and how it provided eternal life to those who followed him.
