There are many different activities, other than academic work, that I participate in. My family owns a large portion of land so when the weather is nice I enjoy a walk through out our forest. I like to walk to the pond and set up a hammock to relax and reflect upon the day. Laying down on the hammock and watching the clouds dance around the sky is a great way to clear my mind. On days when the weather is good, going for a walk is very peaceful and is a great way to pass the time.
Jet skiing is another fun activity I like doing because it’s time spent with family and friends. Jet skiing is another great way to pass the time. Jumping waves and getting airtime gets your adrenaline pumping through your system. The view that the lake gives you at sunset

I usually fight with bamboo swords against my brothers or friends. When you fight with bamboo swords you learn endurance, form and many other traits. When you sword fight your friends and family, it helps make a connection which will strengthen the bond between each other. I would usually go outside in my driveway or travel back by the pond in my field and use bamboo swords.
Scuba diving is another great activity I enjoy with family. Scuba diving in the outer banks is beautiful. The water in the ocean is very clear, you can see very far underwater compared to Lake Erie. In Lake Erie you can not see very far, you might be able to see about 15 to 20 feet at times but majority of the time the visibility is poor. When I dive with my dad and siblings we check out shipwrecks.
Playing airsoft is another fun activity I enjoy. I gather up my friends and we make two teams that would play each other. We go all out when we play airsoft. We discuss tactics and find the best place to ambush the other team. We plan these events in advanced so we can try to get as many people as possible. I have a large field that we play in, there are plenty of trees to use as
I have been snowboarding since 2005, and since then I have been passionate about the sport. When i’m not snowboarding, I like to watch snowboarding; when i’m not watching snowboarding, i’m probably just adding things to my Burton shopping cart and wishing I was a pro so that I could afford them.
This summer I went on a trip to pigeon forge tennessee and did a bunch of activities while I was there.Even though we did a lot of activities my favorite one was white water rafting which we did towards the end of the trip.It was the highlight of my trip and i'm going to tell you all about it.
Outside of school, I am also active in my community. I am involved in many activities. For my church; Spring Baptist Klein Campus; I have been involved as a volunteer at Vacation Bible School for 2 years. I have volunteered for crafts both years because I like to be around children of
I like to read books, play games with my son and go for walks. My main interest in life, apart from my family, is working in Health and Social care as I have a real passion for helping people and helping them overcome any problems they may have, no matter how big or small.
Another hobby of mine is playing baseball. I play for Exton Little League and I also started playing at the age of five. My third hobby is playing outside. Whenever it is a beautiful, sunny day I make sure that I get outside. When I am outside, I usually throw a football around with my brother or neighbor. My hobbies allow me to take my mind off of school and have fun. When school ended in June of last year, I was ecstatic because I knew I was going to go on numerous vacations. The first thing I did over the summer was go on a mission trip to New York. This was a new experience for me since I am extremely shy and it pushed my comfort zone. While in New York, my group worked in Astoria, Queens, where we tiled floors and stained wooden floors. At first I thought that the mission trip would be boring, but I had fun and met new people. Another thing I did during the summer was travel to Lake Placid, New York, for a hockey camp. I stayed in Lake Placid for a week where all we did was skate. Although very tiring, the
If I am not busy with school or work, I like to spend time with my family, friends, and my pet birds. They are my main support, and I think I owe to them to make time for them. That is in the form of a dinner, or spending a day at the beach. My hobbies aside from that, will include reading, and going to concerts or watching old concert footage on the internet from bands like Led Zeppelin, or The
So when you’re not busy, what do you like to do in your free time?
You know what is really fun... doing what I did this summer! What I did this summer is go to Tennessee cabins. Tennessee cabins is a huge cabin of choice you stay in for as many nights as you book. The Tennessee cabin I went to was called Majestic springs. Majestics springs had a four jacuzzi baths ,and a hot tub.
I have gone on a vast amount of trail rides with several different horse. This ride was the first time I had ever taken D. D. (Deanna's Delight) out on one. This trail ride will not ever be able to forget.
While I was a kid my family and I used to go on bike rides all the time to anywhere you could think of. We would go boating everyday in the summer. We would ski, wakeboard, go tubing and many more. Go tubing was one of the funniest memories I have boating because the thrill you get is unbeatable trying to hold on for dear life. Anothering thing we did as a family was go on vacation everywhere. The road trips were always fun because we would bring our dog turbo. The one trip that will never be forgotten is North Carolina. We go there every year with family friends and it will be a trip on go on with my kids.
Number One, Camping. One of most fun experiences was camping at Peninsula State Park. Peninsula State Park offers 468 individual camping sports. The campground offers campsites for campers with all different skill levels, as they have sites with or without electricity. Some of the campsites are even located right on Lake Michigan. Each of the campsites is surrounded by some sort of trees which gives each campsite
A highlight of my summer is when my family and I went to Sioux City. In Sioux City, I went to Drop Zone! Drop Zone is a place where there are multiple trampolines and you get to jump anywhere. There was also an obstacle course next to all the trampolines. Plus, there was a place to play dodgeball and shoot hoops. In the lobby of Drop Zone, there were arcade games where you could win tickets and turn them in for a prize. But, my favorite part of Drop Zone was the laser tag! The laser tag arena was very large too. There were places in the laser tag arena where you could hide, climb, or run. My family and I were there for about 4 hours because of how much fun we were having there. At the end of our trip, we bought some souvenirs to remind us
May 10, 2015 me and my wife, although, we are culturally married not legally I go by wife, left the US for Europe, which is on my bucket list of places and things I like to do thinking to be little fresh and see new places. I had visited all the eastern coast of the US, but, never been out of the country. We had a stop in Amsterdam, Holland. Holland also known by the Netherlands is a small country easily associable by cycle. We stay there for two days and headed towards Switzerland. New places, different language and everything different to me. It was unplanned travel and no knowledge of the country and geographical location. All I had heard was there is a country named Switzerland, and it’s rich.
Throughout my life, I have been on quite the number of ski/snowboard trips and even though a lot of them have been in the same place it never gets old. I'd tell you about my first time going but I was only two years old so I don't remember, I guess you will have to be satisfied with the story of another time. Last December, I remember the long packing process and the boring drive to the hotel. My aunt and uncle along with my friend, Austin and my sister, Abby were in the vehicle with me. You could say the route to Hood River is somewhat scenic, but after traveling it countless time I couldn't help falling asleep for parts of it. While I wasn't asleep I was busy chatting with everyone in the vehicle which makes it feel shorter but it could never be short enough, I was already excited.
Another thing I love to do outdoors is ride my families Polaris razor. I drive it all around at home or my family and I go somewhere to ride. We go to Windrock Park in Tennessee which has over 72,000 acres with 314 miles of trails to drive on. We get to drive for hours there and see all the amazing sights.
