Job descriptions are necessary to define the required knowledge, skills, responsibilities, training, experience, certification or licensure, and outline of reporting for a specific job within an organization. Carolyn Youssef (2012), states that “a job description identifies characteristics of the job to be performed in terms of the tasks, duties, and responsibilities to be fulfilled” (The Job Analysis section, para.1). Knowledge must be applied to recognize concerns, interior problems, and the CRF should work to increase further practical knowledge and skills.
Educational Requirements At minimum, all CRF must possess a high school diploma or equivalency. The Company prefers 6-12 months of clerical experience and prefers certified nursing assistant credentials. To become a CRF, an associate must work one-year as a Rehabilitation Aide and receive a 4.0 or above on the performance evaluation score. In addition, the training, and certification program must be completed with a 100% passing rate. A certificate, a bonus, and pin will be mailed to the associate’s home if a 100% pass rate was achieved.
Selection Methods to Recruit Qualified Candidates Dissimilar types of positions require different kinds of selection techniques. Selecting the correct methods will assist in recruiting the most excellent person for the position. The selection methods selected will depend on the specific skills, qualities, and knowledge required for the position. The selection method should be related with the selection criteria that are vital to the position (UTS Human Resources, 2010). Application forms, reference check, and interviews are methods that the company uses to recruit qualified candidates.
