Job Descriptions and Analyses: Stars Hollow Hat Company Case Study As Stars Hollows Hat Company continues a path of strong growth, it must delineate its positions in order to best suit its strategy of expansion. The company is now planning to add several new employees to the already stellar line up, but before looking for new hires, the HR team must first define the job descriptions and job families of the two departments that are to receive the greatest numbers of new hires. Defining these positions and families will help HR pick candidates that are better suited for the positions they are being hired for, as well as provide the new employees with a strong plan for future growth within the company. Outlining the exact duties and responsibilities for these new hires will be crucial to keeping them onboard for the long haul and providing them room for expansion.
