Just as the grass is eager for the morning breeze, so is the passion of curiosity toward the great invention done by Johannes Gutenberg in the year 1440. A man who was smart and skilled enough to make new creations. He who made the creation of such a useful tool in the productions of books. A tool that was high on demand. The inventor of the machine called the printing press, that is used to transfer ink from a plate to paper and or cloth.
Before the invention of printing press, books were copied by hand. The invention made a revolution of printing technology which benefits writers, printers, etc.
Gutenberg introduced printing to Europe which caused the spread of news, books and other work of art to travel quickly through Europe. Scholars believe that the printing press was the key invention of the Renaissance because it helped spread the work and all the revolution made during the Renaissance. Johannes Gutenberg is the father of the printing press. Some argue that he isn't because the idea; for example, the movable type was invented long before Johannes Gutenberg’s invention. According to Wei Li in the article “the invention of movable type” (Sept 21, 2002); the movable type was invented in China by a man name Bi, Sheng during the former Song Dynasty, which happened in the year 960-1127 BCE. This was about 400 years before the Gutenberg’s invention.
