The inauguration of President John F. Kennedy will for be remembered forever. During that day it was very emotional for everyone, especially his campaign party because he personally thanked his sister afterward. In his speech, he was very encouraging to the people. In addition, we get an insight of what his family and friends think of the inauguration. In these articles, they have similarities in style because of the way the writers used diction, however, they also have differences.

In addition, the diction of the inaugural speech was very formal. He was great at persuading the audience emotionally. For example, he states, “To those people in the huts and villages of half the globe struggling to break the bonds of mass misery, we pledge our best efforts to help them help themselves…” Kennedy's pledge to help those in need around the globe. Having many emotion already running through the audience's mind, adding this really showed how he was persuasive. By doing so it showed even more why he was the right choice for the people. Connecting this back to similarities of the documents, in Doc 2 its diction was similar. This article written by Eleanor Clift for Daily Beast, wrote,¨ … Kennedy. And he said, ‘Dick, did you see the Coast Guard contingent in the parade?
