It calls to the U.S. And the world for a rise to action in terms of peace and compassion but as well as to show strength and resolve of the U.S. Being president, he possesses great power to make this goal a reality. He shows the audience the states and the world great passion in acheiving his moral objectives.. From a pathos his speach is very moving, calling all of man to grasp and start a revoltion for humanity and peace. "In your hands, my fellow citizens, more than mine, will rest the final success or failure of our course. " he relays to his audience that they have the power to change the world, a great tatic for empowering and motivating that call to action. Terms that are used such as "we" and "us" demomstrates not only humility but also that he is one of the audience in the fight to better the world- a tatic that is commonly used by a true leaders.
