John Quincy Adams

The sixth president of the United States was John Quincy Adams. He is the son of John Adams, the 2nd president of the United States. In this report I am going to talk about John Quincy Adams. He was born in Braintree, Massachusetts on July 11th, 1767. When he was growing up he had five siblings, two brothers and three sisters. His sisters were Abigail Adams Smith, Susanna Adams, and Elizabeth Adams. Charles and Thomas Boylston Adams were his brothers. John Quincy Adams spouse was Louisa Adams and she was First Lady of the United States from 1825 to 1829. John Quincy Adams had four children with his wife. They had three sons and only one daughter. Their names were Louisa, George, John, and Charles. His father was John Adams and his mother was Abigail Adams.

It was held from Tuesday, October 26th, to Thursday, December 2nd, 1824. On February 9th, 1825, John Quincy Adams was elected president. The election was the first election where the popular vote was counted. Also, it is the first election where the candidate, that receives more than the others but doesn’t receive an absolute majority of electoral votes, doesn’t become the President. It was the first time where the House of Representatives decided the election. After the election, Andrew Jackson and his supporters said the election of John Quincy Adams was a corrupt bargain. So this is how John Quincy got elected: In 1824, the election ended without any person receiving a majority (the number in which the votes for one party or candidate exceed those of the next rank) in the Electoral College, the House of Representatives then awarded the election of the new president to the one and only John Quincy

John Adams was born on October 30, 1735 and died July 4, 1826. He was an early advocate of American independence from Great Britain, a major figure in the Continental Congress author of the Massachusetts constitution, signer of the Treaty of Paris, first American ambassador to the Court of St. James, first vice president, and second president of the United States. Although Adams was looked as one of the most significant statesmen of the revolutionary era, his reputation faded in the 19th century, only to grow again during the last half of the 20th century.
John Adams, Jr. was an American lawyer, author, statesman, and diplomat. He served as the second President of the United States, the first Vice President, and as a Founding Father was a leader of American independence from Great Britain. Adams was a political theorist in the Age of Enlightenment who promoted republicanism and a strong central government. His innovative ideas were frequently published. He was also a dedicated diarist and correspondent, particularly with his wife and key advisor Abigail.
John Quincy Adams, the son of former president John Adams, had a very rich political background prior to the election of 1824. In 1803, he was elected to the senate. He spent a few years in the senate, and then in 1809, James Madison appointed Adams his minister to St. Petersburg. He helped to bring about the end of The War of 1812 by help negotiate the Treaty of Ghent in 1814. After the war was over he became the minister to London in 1815. Then in 1817, James Monroe appointed Adams his secretary of state.5 Adams supported protective tariffs and federal programs that were intended for internal improvements. He was also had a much more formal manner than the other candidates.6
After serving as the commander of the U.S forces for some lengthy time, Jackson focused his attention into being the American president. Jackson came into the limelight of the American politics when he first took part in president election in the year 1824. Unfortunately, despite Jackson receiving popular vote, he was floored on the basis of the majority vote. John Quincy Adams became the president in that year following the election decision by the House of Representatives. Jackson never quit his quest for presidency, but went on with efforts to add value to his name that could later give him a perfect ground of landing his dream. John’s presidency was marred with a lot of controversies,

Also he severed nine consecutive terms in the House of Representatives, earning the nickname “Old Man Eloquent.”
The second president of the United States of America John Adams was born in the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1735. He became a Harvard Lawyer who latter throughout his lifetime, he became an individual who became identified with the patriot cause which was led by George Washington who became the first president. Washington led a group of Patriots or Rebels to try and break free from the injustices that Great Britain placed upon the newly founded colonies. John Adams supported the ideals that the rebels thought of and became one of America's Founding Fathers. John Adams was born on October 30, 1735 in Quincy, Massachusetts. His parents were John Adams Sr. and Susanna Boylston. He had two younger brothers named Peter and Elihu. Adams loved his gather and had a strong relationship with him. Being the eldest child, his parents wanted him to get a formal education. They put him in Dame School at the age of six. Adams then went on to go to Brain Tree Latin School to learn about Latin. At the age of sixteen, in 1751, he went to Harvard and graduated with his A.B. degree in 1755. After this Adams taught at Worcester for a few years and decided to be a lawyer. He married his third cousin Abigail Smith on October 25, 1764 and had six children.
John Adams had a major role in formation the United States government to how it is today. During the time, Adams was alive, America was merely the thirteen colonies. Theses colonies were under the authority of Great Britain. John was outraged at Great Britain for oppressing his fellow people. John believed they were levying taxes unfairly. His beliefs encouraged him to take action. He became a leader of the American Revolution. This war was between Great Britain and thirteen colonies fighting for their freedom. Adams choose George Washington to be commander in charge of the continental army. This army was able to fight back and stand their ground. This was a rewarding achievement for these small thirteen colonies. John Adams also played an

He went from Boston's best Attorney to the 2nd President of the US (Dwyer). John Adams spoke out against the British in the American Revolution, was a diplomat sent to Europe, and the second president of the United States.
Most likely when you hear the name Samuel Adams you probably think of the bear company that is named after him. But Samuel Adams was a patriot and a big deal back in the 1700s. In this essay I will talk about his early life and a few of his many accomplishments. The early life of Samuel Adams is not very exciting. Samuel was born September 27, 1722 in Boston Massachusetts. As a young boy Samuel was very smart. He graduated from Harvard College in 1740. After Samuel tried to become a brewer which is the person who makes beer he failed and didn’t become a brewer. After that Samuel tried to become a newspaper merchant. He did not become a newspaper merchant either. After this Samuel Adams realized that his true calling was politics.
